Looks like we'll be getting an early April line-up announcement again… The social pages are starting to be warmed up for the algorithm. It was April 11th last year for the first announcement in 25 and 26th March in 24.

1st prediction is Sprints after they were ill last year so will probably roll the booking, currently still shows clear for them.

Enjoyed this one last year despite the mud and poor toilet facilities.

Fantastic venue and very friendly vibe. Definitely considering it again but of course all depends on who is announced.

Any idea why they leave it so late for a line-up announcement?

I think it used to be March, but the announcements seem to be getting later as the years pass.

Would love to see Getdown Services announced.

    And could you imagine Kneecap!

They just dropped a tease lineup…not a clue, not that I'm interested in the top line usually but to play along 😀 Any ideas?

    Here we go!

    1776179278372.jpg

Whipped up a choice pick playlist of all artist or their previous projects for everyone to dive into.

Theres a few durr country acts on that line up (it is the North West and they love that **** up here) but also Stendhal doing what it does best with a excellent spread of home grown and grassroots real band acts.

Cast and Chalk are two good acts on there. Tumbling Paddies headlining is pretty mad...

Heading along to this for the first time this year. How much room is there for campervans? We have a small campervan (VW T5) but a big vango kela awning. just wondering is they are strict on space or what you can put up? The awning attaches to the side of the van. Great for rainy festivals and keeping the van dry
Don't want to bring it all the way there, find we can't put it up and then have to sleep with it in the van for a few days!

Two big fields and no measuring stick 😀

They not mega strict on laying everyone up tight as lots of space still. If you're there early on the Thursday you'll have the pick of anywhere. So park woth allowance for your rig. Leveling chocksand blocks recommended for the upper side (yellow) which we prefer as its away from the lane to and from family camping and caravans which if you like a lay in is a must.

Edit: I should add for some context... we have a T4 and the rear tent we set up is bigger than the whole van!

Pick your orientation well, it can be windy here in Binevenagh.

Cheers for the info, good to hear it's relaxed. Will be there for Thursday but coming from Wicklow so prob arrive late afternoon. I have never succeeded in leaving the house the day of a festival before midday - no mater how much packing of the van we did the night before😀
Will bring the chocs and try out that yellow spot - we stay out late and sleep late!

Ok, So i've had a bit of time to digest what's been listed so far. Here's my two pence :)

Obvious things I'll be going by for a bop; Chalk, Mad Professor, The Last Vinci, The Skalions and probably go to Cast, the new album is ok background listening. Probably go to Huartan again and have a cringe at the political gurning. DJ Yoda if its a full VDJ set would be good but prob just a normal set.

The unknowns I'll be checking out from what I've listened to may end up being better live hopefully. Because so far again nothing jumping out at me from listening:

Anna's Number, ATAYA, Batesy and the Deadly Rhythm, Beauty Sleep, DEOCH (might be the only one i'm quite curious about given their origins.), Lazember, :Panic:Over, Pastiche - Quite the spread of genres and gives of lady gaga vibes, might I be suppressed live!?, Proton Pool Party, Tanaka.

Overall, there's nothing there that's got my juices going and would be excited to see overall with the exception of Chalk (seeing/seen them already and will certainly go again). Its fairly bland middle of the road with what feels like a heavy sway on Americanised country and country leaning rhythm and blues acts more than ever before… as I said its expected to a point, they love that sh1t up here in the NW 🤢

I'll certainly have a good time for sure just lacking a bit of stoke with the unknowns all being quite samey and nothing really off kilter as with previous years

The Nerve Centre has a bigger presence this year, this might be the place to be for me to catch some grassroots gems just starting out.

From chatting in other threads and looking at all Ireland festivals (And GB festivals) this year, it seems bland across the board. is that a reflection of playing financial safety? Is their a lack of bands touring or availability domestic or otherwise? Has AI diluted everything? All of the above? @LowOdour - I hear that on the tumbling paddies.. but so many go mental for them. Don't get it myself.

Hoping to be pleasantly supprised while getting slowly sozzled in a field. Still some more acts to come so, as always, will keep an open mind.

Music is subjective, whats caught your ear?

Another underwhelming lineup, but I said the same last year yet really enjoyed it, so hoping I get to hear a few gems this year as well. I guess it's a financial nightmare trying to book acts for such a small festival, but time will tell.

Last year with The Lightning Seeds headlining, I rolled my eyes. Then they were excellent, so Cast have already pricked my interest as I remember some of their bangers from the 90s or whenever they were on the scene, so I would say they will give a good show.

Tumbling Paddies not my bag at all, but the young ones might have fun!

    Know nothing of Chalk.

And here's the Nerve Centre listings. (take-over of the Woolly Woodland stage) Looking good for some up and coming and new act discovery….

Tho saying that I have caught, Klyda, Seventh Heaven, Growing Pains, Skins, Sunset Theory and Emma White before and enjoyed.

Anyway; Playlist updated if they are present on snotify.

I'm gonna pass on it this year for the first time in ages. The line-up just isn't doing it for me. Purchased the earlybird tickets before seeing any announcements, as per previous years. I'll not be doing that again.

Last batch of announcements in 10 days and some 'new' arena arrangements buy the sounds of it…

I've started building out the clashfinder if you want to star/save the link and start any artist highlights. Loads to sort yet but here you go
