The update process for SSS does not happen automatically. Men are required to update their address when they move until the age of 26, only the fact that they exist is known for certainty.

Should it become time to call up the draft, there are a number of ways it can be done to include simply putting out publicly a series of numbers that people can check when it is announced no matter where they are and then report in. Yes, some updates are still done automatically such as through passport applications and benefits application, but fundamentally, even with the automatic initial registration, the current details are not automated.

(As an aside, I always loved seeing R. Lee Ermey playing that role. He was an actual US Marine drill instructor before he started acting)

I had the exact same thought when I saw this.
What is so toxic that putting Melania at a podium could possibly make it less so.
Especially when the replies are flooded with photos of her, Jeff and Don in multiple meetings and various embrace and social connection.

It's peculiar timing to say the least. The Epstein files are, effectively, out of the picture due to Trump's stupid war against Iran so coming out with this now stinks of something that she is preemptively trying to distance herself from.

Also…

That Melania announcement is very strange. Trying to tease it out, all that she's declaring is that Epstein did not introduce her to numbnuts. Well then firstly who did introduce her to numbnuts and are they of any consequence?

If that's not an issue then why todays declaration? If sending her out was numbnuts idea then it still doesn't detract from all the time he spent with Epstein. So if he knows the files are about to overtake him (the Iran disaster being the last straw for Republicans) then maybe by his wife putting distance between herself and Epstein she's positioning herself dynastically to assume his fortune for the kids sake.

I have been wondering all day why Wall Street has been so optimistic about some deal with Iran approaching, perhaps insiders know Donald is going to get a tap on the shoulder.

Donald shagged them all incl GMax, he would never turn down a freebie, my guess would be Jeffrey passed Melania onto Donald and it worked out better than expected, Jeffrey went to collect and Donald pays nobody either in favours or folding stuff, that's when the major fallout occurred between the two friends.

Down the line there was something with Ivanka/Melania/baby Barron, this is where Melania got the big bucks maybe Jeffrey knew and money was not going to take care of Jeffrey.

Would explain why Jared is so favoured above Junior and Eric.
