This is the full list, which doesn't include Scaramucci, who was comms director for 10 or 11 days. Awful for him but on the plus side, he became a unit of measurement for the length of tenure for Trump employees afterwards.

“mixture of horror and admiration at how she showed no qualms whatsoever, and always had a ready soundbite.”

Not sure I’d agree- she was always 100% on the defensive in her tone which is always a bad start- it shows that she has a total lack of confidence in what she’s saying.

The more she reached for some ridiculous explanation and sound bite or berated a journalist for a probing question, the more out of her depth she appeared.

Her delivery of ridiculous nonsense made up facts and explanations was always done at pace, as if she just wanted to get the fck out of there; she knew what she was saying was bulls1t but more importantly, she knew everyone else knew it was bullsh1t; you can’t deliver lies and PR well, when you know everyone listening is laughing at you.

Trump fired the army chief General with no warning and no explanation.

Apparently this Iran war is over, has been amazingly successful and has achieved all its aim ahead of time and yet the person over the entire armed forces has been fired and removed immediately.

    No transition, no reason given.

Does that look like a military that is over achieving? Trump is in full panic mode. The general clearly has objections to whatever Trump is looking to do next.

Trump has purged the military. No need for murders or imprisonment like in other dictatorships, he just fires and replaced. And nobody raised any concerns.

The POTUS who, in a national address, threatened to carry out war crimes, has purged the military top generals and replaced them with hand picked replacements. Screw experience, ignore capability, loyalty is all that matters.

Hmm. Like, separation of church and state? Nahh, as long as it's the approved church.

'The Pentagon invited more than 3,500 employees to attend the event. "Just a friendly reminder: There will be a Protestant Service (No Catholic Mass) for Good Friday today at the Pentagon Chapel," read an email sent by Air Force leadership.'

Millions spent bombing a country thousands of miles away. Ground troops on the way. Prisoners of war being taken. Hubris in telling the public that it's all going well but will become a predictable quagmire. American astronauts on the way to the moon.

In a reminder that all is still well in Trump's DOJ, Jared Wise [the former FBI Agent - 2004/2017 - who's resume included involvement with the 06 jan 2000 [yeah, killl the police] riot at the Capitol, a pardon from Trump for the same, a job in the DOJ [as counsellor to Ed Martin, the DOJ pardons attorney] before losing that role early this year, has left the DOJ on the same day that Trump fired Pam Bondi. Apparently there was discord between Deputy AG Blanche's staff and Martin at his work at the Weaponisation Working Group. Martin was working on a report on the prosecutions of those involved in the Capitol riot. The report has not been made available on that and may never be. Another example of how the DOJ is capably handling touchy paperwork.

Project 2025 sees full control of FBI & DOJ with the president and this is complete.

Trump during the election campaign denied any intention of implementing this of course it was a lie and done under cover of DOGE

Well TBF, Catholics don't do mass on Good Friday.
Instead, we get dragged off to Church for the "Passion"...
I remember when I was a young buck, my Girlfriend asked me if I wanted to join her for said Passion.
Despite my being 16, raised Catholic, schooled Catholic I'd never done Good Friday church before and wasn't aware that the Passion was 1-2 hrs of how great Jesus is, and how much we owe him.

I showed up at her house, a horny, eager 16 year old expecting genuine passion!
So you can imagine my disappointment when I was soon seated on a hard pew, in a cold and quite ugly modern church.
The only thing worth looking at in the building?
    Was herself.
Then, afterwards, she had family plans so there really, really was no passion.

Anyway, in a very Trumpian fashion, albeit 100% completely coincidentally (I swear).
That church burned down a couple of days later.
    If I were American born?
I definitely could be president 😉

Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed.
This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. The cost of one modern heavy bomber is this: a modern brick school in more than 30 cities. It is two electric power plants, each serving a town of 60,000 population. It is two fine, fully equipped hospitals. It is some fifty miles of concrete pavement. We pay for a single fighter with a half-million bushels of wheat. We pay for a single destroyer with new homes that could have housed more than 8,000 people. . . . This is not a way of life at all, in any true sense. Under the cloud of threatening war, it is humanity hanging from a cross of iron. - Dwight D Eisenhower, April 1953

President Donald Trump has proposed boosting defense spending to $1.5 trillion in his 2027 budget released Friday, the largest such request in decades, reflecting his emphasis on U.S. military investments over domestic programs. - Donald J Trump - April 2026

Every single MAGAT, in the US, abroad, online and on here who has watched this clown for 10 years now particularly those who advocated for him in 2024, is partially responsible for the harm that this man is directly doing to at least a full generation of Americans, and many more besides.

Whenever the analysis of WW3 is written, Donald Trump is going to feature heavily in leading the world in that direction.

Trump looking ahead to make unavailable records from his Presidency and may even be able to sell them off!

According to Virginia Canter, who worked in the White House Counsel’s Office under Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, the OLC opinion gives Trump the okay to hold on to sensitive documents when he leaves the White House again and even sell them to the “highest bidder.”

Is Hegseth going to fire the military archbishop? The said archbishop says the war doesn't meet the standard of a just war. What do Rubio and Vance make of it?

Rubio's right, though. They would be a much different country…..If only in the sense of being much easier for the US to intimidate and break…..

He can’t. The archbishop is a civilian position in the Catholic Church appointed by the Pope.

    https://www.milarch.org/advancement/faq/

Duties include sponsoring and validating military chaplains, and it is a “chain of communication” line for those chaplains to higher ecclesiastical authority.

The linked article’s headline is misleading if you read the text. There was no exclusion of Catholics.

I had a decent chat with my chaplain a couple weeks ago (Im lucky, we don’t normally get them at my level due to lack of numbers) about the support those of us not of his faith. He does not do “non denominational services”. He is sponsored by his church, and he conducts worship accordingly (Chaplains are priests first, soldiers second, they cannot be mandated to do “non denominational”). However, those not of his church are still welcome to attend service and use it at least as a time of quiet reflection whilst someone still talks about the same general god and bible. No, a Catholic will not receive the sacraments from him.

The bottom line though is that a Catholic mass at the Pentagon requires a Catholic chaplain at the Pentagon. You can’t have a mass without a priest, and Catholic chaplains are very thin on the ground*. The Archdiocese website above observes that there are less than 300 Catholic chaplains to spread around every ship and base in the DoD, that number apparently includes reservists, and that number has been dropping over the years. Catholics make up 25% of the US military, but under 10% of the chaplains’ corps are Catholic. So, if the chaplains in the DC area do not include that one of every eleven who are Catholic, that nobody booked the chapel for Catholic service would not be particularly surprising.

*Nothwithstanding that as Banie observes, Catholics don't do Mass on Good Friday, it's a Liturgy of the Passion or some similar event. But I presume you need a Catholic priest for that also.
