The last album I listened to (courtesy of Youtube!) was Zenyatta Mondatta by The Police. It's a mixed bag with some outstanding tracks and a couple of mediocre tracks.

It has one of their greatest songs on it, Canary in a Coalmine.

The last album I listened to (courtesy of Youtube!) was Regatta de Blanc by The Police. This album had more writing contributions from Summers and Copeland than any of their other albums, particularly Copeland, but also a couple of group co-written compositions.

Occasionally, I listen to Dermot O'Leary's 90s show and a recent one was "Let's hear it for the girls...named in 90s indie song titles from the likes of Elastica, Bjork, Hole, Nirvana, Beck & Blur."

So, for Blur, he plays "Tracy Jacks", even though its about a bloke, not a girl.

Regardless, I am now playing "Parklife" over and over again, and loving it!

Must have been Annie, Isobel, Jennifer, About a Girl, Debra, and Tracy Jacks?

Pull Like a Dog by The Scratch.

Every single they've released seems to be 'Wahey! Lads having the craic!' their album tracks are darker and more serious, reminds me a bit of Alice in Chains, and the more frenetic stuff has a bit of System of a Down in it, it's a good album hope I catch them live sometime.

    Candy-O by The Cars.

A collection of great catchy tunes. They knew how to write a good hook.

With all thats happening in the Persian Gulf at the moment, it reminded me of The The's 'Sweet Bird of Truth' from their 1986 album 'Infected'. Its lyrics are scarily relevant considering they were written 40 years ago. I'd forgotten how much i love this whole album.

The overlooked early Maiden album. Also one of the first records I ever bought coming up on 40 years ago I'd say.
