I dont watch trailers for any show or film, there's always too much info shown for my liking. Spoiler-adjacent if not outright spoiling things

I must check again, but I was sure I've gotten multiple promos on different episodes when binge-watching a series. The Pitt. I feel there are always more on newer or higher interest shows

I don't mind the "promo" before shows as they include a countdown timer and I usually just mute them. What is annoying me is that over the last few months at halftime in any live sports game it goes back to the homepage, which starts cycling through all the promos. Maybe I'm being paranoid, but I assume it's a deliberate setting by them? It never happens during the games but always during every single halftime.

Anyone else experiencing the subtitles going out of sync on the television package?

    Is it the Pitt?

Known issue if it is, according to Nowtv. Sorts itself out later in the season

    Sky Sports €15 p/m for 6 months

"Offer charged at €15 a month for 6 months NOW Sports Membership. After the 6-month minimum term, Sports Membership auto-renews at €38.99 unless you cancel the auto-renewal during the 6-month minimum term."

Got stung a bit, was on a 4.99 cancel any time deal for Ent but jumped off in Feb as wasn't using it enough, figured there would still be some decent deals when hbo came on board.

If saw it in time might just have gone for the 3.99pm /6 month min but missed that, 7.99 too much for 6 months, hbo improved the catalogue but not by enough to justify it. Hasn't seemed to be any better deals lately.

We need something good to binge for Easter so I think for the first time ever I paid full price for 1 month to get the Pitt watched then I'm out.

Seems to happen with all sport, but most noticeable with premier league games. I'm using the LG TV app.

Signing up for NowTV for the first time today (thanks for the codes everybody)…. Are there any offers for the Sports Extra membership (I’ve got the Sky Sports). Being offered €15 for 6 months, is that the best there is?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,270 ✭✭✭Mr. Guappa

You should be able to get Sports Extra for €10p/m. Go back through the pages here and you should find something I'd say.

taking a look at hbo on the now app, there is very good stuff on that. So it’s my understanding if you have an entertainment pass and a boost you get access to HBO Max and their movies ad free ?

    Not exactly.

If you had existing entertainment pass before HBO Max launch you get access to the HBO only content.

HBO movies require the cinema pass also.

Boost will give you ad-free but there seems to be an unskippable promo before every HBO show, movie now. Probably part of the HBO, Sky deal.

New customers now have a basic & full package with HBO at different prices. What happens with existing voucher codes & cancellation offers going forward remains to be seen.
