I had half an idea and was wondering what you all thought.

We’re told that switching our electricity, broadband and other services is a way to get better value. It is, I’ve just done my broadband, and did gas last month.

it’s also a pain to do this all the time. We have over 25 recurring payments so there’s constantly the research, comparing, direct debit shennanigans and so on.

Also what does a company care if I switch? Big deal.

What if 10 people switched together. At what point does a company start to pay attention and provide better value? 100? 1,000?

Step 1: Get all your bill info organised

Step 2: Make switching easier for households

Step 3: Make it easy to switch as a group

    Impossible? Illogical? Inconceivable?

OneBigSwitch has done this for years for various things - the available discount often works out as being pretty much the same as you can get anywhere else.
