Pure telecom restrictions.

Are any of you knowledgeable lot aware of any restrictions when going with Pure? (on Eir backhaul)

I've noticed the need to use a VPN from time to time Recently to use a cyrpto wallet that uses tor, for example.

I didn't think they would be blocking tor routing, but I guess they are…?

Anything else that people know they are blocking?

I was with them for 2 years and never found anything blocked by them but then I wasn't using anything out of the ordinary

I'm not aware of any blocking on Pure so can't comment on that but you could try run a test with the Ooni Probe app which will tell you if anything else is blocked. I find it quite handy for testing things like that.

It also tests Tor.

Maybe try changing the DNS on the router to Google - 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4 or Cloudflare - 1.1.1.1/1.0.0.1

But that shouldn't be the issue with TOR though anyway

Running OONI shows tor and a couple of domains are blocked. (ntc.party and trendsmap.com)

I'll get on to Pure and ask whats up.
