What type of bike have u got, how is it in fields

Got slurry out yesterday by pipe. Was talking to the contractor, fairly large operator. Was telling me his diesel tank used to cost €20k to fill. Now costing €33k. During the summer, he said he would use a full tank in 4 days. He reckons he will need to be charging close €180/€190 per acre for pit silage this summer. He told me that another pretty large operator rang him and said that he would be charging €220 acre for pit silage this year. Jez costs are gone through the roof.

Local pump here now is 1.59

10 cent but yeah it was 1.60 when I ordered, then yesterday evening he rang when he was on route telling me that it is gone up to 1.69 and to cancel if I wanted.

So what can you do, I wanted peace of mind to be covered for the next 12 months

Anyone got a rough idea how much diesel used to make a round bale with a fusion. I heard 2 litres a bale once but I think that must include mowing/raking and drawing too?
