    You used to be able to access RTE Player if you didn't sign in, now that ability is gone too?

    Downloaded rte player app and now on home tv eir is saying it's not supported. Can't record rte 1 or 2 or watch back 7 days like i thought. Not happy if this is the case.

    RTE have intentionally blocked all recording, restart and catch up services on Eir TV and other streaming TV providers in order to encourage users to use RTE Player (not ideal, as it would be a better experience within the Eir TV app).

    I can't comment on the RTE Player app for your device (presume it's the Android device). I use an Apple TV device and it works fine.
