Cannot access individual threads

Hi there - not sure whether this is a moderation matter or a system issue, but a thread in After Hours and a thread in C.A. (which was moved from AH) are unavailable to me. Each one just disappeared from view after I posted a few times to them. I didn't get any messages/notifications explaining why. None of the mods can see why either. On their side, nothing says I'm banned from those threads.

The notifications of me being quoted are still available to me, but when I click into them, I get the "permission denied" page.

The threads are: "What's your most controversial opinion?" (AH) and "Horse killed pulling sulky" (C.A.) thanks.

I dont see either thread in CA or AH going back 3 pages.

Is it possible they were both deleted?

Thanks Odyssey. The mods I spoke to from both forums said they weren't. One sent me a link to the horse one (but which I couldn't access). Maybe there's a glitch going on.

Maybe mods can still see "deleted" threads in Vanilla.

Maybe the account that opened both threads just got nuked.

If you open Boards without being logged in eg in incognito mode, neither thread shows in their respective forum and I assume they had activity in the last month.

A mod can't see a deleted thread when they look at a forum.

I've looked at your comments @Mother Shaboobu and I can't see any recent posts in those threads. It does look like a permission glitch and it's stopping me seeing them too.

Hmm, there's something really odd here.

The thread exists, but somehow it's listed as being under the redirect to CA, and not in CA. I've no idea how that's possible, Vanilla is the gift that keeps on giving alright.

I'd say it was moved to the 'wrong' CA (like you say above, the redirect link as opposed to the forum). This happened a while back with another thread. An admin or a CA mod might be able to move it to the correct place.

I presume so, since a user shouldn't be able to do that themselves, but this is Vanilla we're talking about. As a mod I can see that the thread exists at least, but I can't move it.

@Mickeroo @Beasty @Big Bag of Chips are you able to salvage it?
