Suggestions for keeping wild deer off farm land

I know it’s impossible in theory, but has anyone found ways to keep wild deer out of the farm. Do crow bangers or the likes work? Would the sound of the gun keep them away?

I have a bunch of deer coming into an out farm. They are mad for eating grass. There is plenty forestry around as well as rough mountain land. So lots of places for them to hide. So I suppose I’m looking for suggestions that might deter them. Thanks

Apologies for been facetious but I doubt you will have much success trying to deter them once they get the taste of nice grass.

308, 243, 6.5 Creedmore are all great deterrents. Stick a post into the hunting section here and you’ll have someone out to do the job for you.

I’d say it’ll take what comes out of the gun and not just the sound of it to do the job.

Correct. I've them here in winter and spring, their more brazen every year. They disappear off when the gun man is looking for them.

Will have a look around for someone into hunting. You need to trust who you let into your farm too. Also not as easy this time of year with cattle feeding outside to have bullets flying off.
