Never a fan of audis. And definitely not this model / series .if I was buying an Audi for that money I would buy a 2 year old A8 tfsi phev .luxury model like audi centre have for sale for €80 K

Saw a dark colour one the other day very underwhelming compared to previous models.

I have seen an Avant a few times in a deep red with black trim and wheels that looks pretty good, but otherwise agree with what’s been said above - the design is underwhelming.

Is that not an A5 ?

not sure it slipped under the radar, it was launched over a year ago and is in dealers and on the road nearly a year now. Personally I think the avant looks great, but like more Audis in Ireland it’s overpriced and under spec’d relative to the competition. Does have a bit of rarity though, still selling the tdi and few enough of them on the roads.

It is indeed the A6 pictured above, not the A5

A year ago, wow. Saw my first one on the roads the other day, can't be selling too well.

Audi always meant to me, sharp clean exterior and interior designs and high quality interior with premium customer service.

In the last few years, the exterior design has become boring but in fairness attractive.
however interior quality has taken a nose dive. There is no tangible difference between Audi quality and Skoda/VW.

Increased prices at the same time…

Another person mentioned they had seen an estate that looked well .which is likely to have been an A5

Saw the exact car/colour in the picture yesterday on a northern reg in Dundalk.

I have to say it looked great in that colour but i really had to have a double look to see was it the new model as it looked very similar to the previous model. Rear lights stood out as different.

As someone who loves his Audi's (having owned 3 of them so far - 2 3L TDI A6s and an A7), I really am disappointed in the newer models.

Someone above mentioned there's no difference in the interiors between them and VW/Skodas and that's probably right - a screen is a screen, and they all have their version S-Line (R/N or whatever) so that leaves the exterior and honestly the newer model Superbs look better I think.

HOWEVER… where Audi still differentiate for me is in the engines - you simply can't get a 3.0 TDI Superb or Kodiaq and I would find it very hard I'd imagine to go back to a 2.0 TDI at this stage.

Hence the next car for me will probably be a used A8 or Q7 - but even there I'm wary of the "IPad generation" of these. Unfortunately the last ones with real buttons and controls ended in 2017 (in the A8) so theyu're aging out fast - especially in a country not fond of "older" cars anyway but especially not bigger engined ones!

A friend who has had a no of audis changed his 3 year old Q3 to a new corolla cross . Aside than the cloth upholstery I think the corolla looks classier and while i cant comment on later much more expensive Q3 model I think interior is classier in the Toyota.

He is finding the toyota infotainment annoying and he does feel the audi badge had more prestige but he's happy with corolla
