Nothing stopping you from applying, as long as you meet all requirements go for it

Does anyone know how the Merit List from this campaign plays vs the 2025 merit list? Do they appoint people higher on the 2026 merit list vs those already on the 2025 one?

If anyone has done this before whats the timeline like for the next stages. Is it by order of merit

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8 lozzapalozza

no i dont think you are awarded a merit list place under after the assessment day. The timeline can differ dependant on budget etc. the process is usually crazy long. Read something on here before that said try to put it to the back of your mind and get on with your life as normal in the mean time otherwise it can be a torturous wait. Usually fast up until the assessment day and then slows massively.

Got results, today is education upload, from there its approx 4 to 8 weeks for Selection center day. That runs spring / early Summer, its quite the wait if you do it early to find out the results, then depending on your merit number you will get a date for Physical and they send you the clearance docs. All in all it takes a long time :)

As far as I know they will all go first unless there is a massive issue with say their clearance. When that campaign is exhausted then an stragglers get slotting in with the next campaign etc.

I think 700 less this year, lowest in along time as well as the lowest in Catholic numbers for over a decade. I thought the IST pass mark was low as well and that's probably because of the low intake.

It is in order of Merit, until the end when it all comes down to clearance

Does anyone know if the assessment centre day includes an interview or is all focused around role plays and scenarios

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1 riz4kl

It's all roleplay and scenario based

does anyone know what the ist was marked out of?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3 drum.72

I thought the pass mark was very low too, maybe trying to give as many people as possible a chance to up the numbers

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31 CJauditsyeoo

I dont think there’s any answer that’d be facts but I’d guess the maximum mark would have been 200?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3 drum.72

If it is 200 then the pass mark being 60 is crazy! Was just asking as I know that the 2021/22 recruitment told you in email what each assessment was marked out of. I guess they just really changed it around this year.

2025 it was out of 200 and pass was 70 something
