Jeez he'll kill himself yet, not many people get into as many accidents when driving. He's either a really poor driver or taking too much medication for injuries that's impairing his judgement

Charged for driving under the influence. Refused to give a urine sample

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 390 ✭✭Bocadilloo

Not alcohol so clearly medication or drugs. He's probably been well briefed to refuse test and take the DUI charge. It's a misdemeanor charge in the US so no jail time

And get a free pass again. Lucky he didn’t kill himself or someone else

What are they doing in the Hyacinth house?

After a first offense, or during any crash investigation, a required test and suspension of license should be automatic. His being allowed to continue to drive endangers the public.

Interestingly, a video popped up on my Instagram yesterday which must have been before this incident, with a picture of woods sweating balls at the TGL and someone saying that it looked symptoms of usage or withdrawal of medication. I'd put money on opiods for pain management

You can see where this is going longer term. I doubt he'll see 60.

Tiger's vice is the prescription stuff..

    And waitresses, obviously

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,837 ✭✭✭beachhead

Needs driving lessons or stop rally driving while DUI or whatever or drive a micra

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 390 ✭✭Bocadilloo

I'd imagine he's in constant pain. He has to be with everything he's put his body through. Probably decided the meds are worth risking getting caught. He's a serious danger on the road though

Sad to see, thankfully no injuries all around

I hear he gets the waitresses over the counter.

He has had a very strange life , famous from a child, his father seemed a poor role model.

For all the odd things he has done, he gets a strange pass from the golf industry and golfers

He must be doing some speed with these events..amazing to topple them cars.

And why doesn't he have a few minders / driver .

    Very odd..

His childhood was stolen for fame. It would be difficult to have a normal life after such a start. That doesn't forgive his behaviour but explains it. I wish parents would allow children, however gifted, to have as normal a life as possible and set behavioural boundaries.

I'd love to know if he regrets the path his life has taken or do the rewards and fame compensate.

All around bad habits. The last thing to fall into in case of serious pain is the recent crop of opioids.

A guy like that can afford all kinds if therapeutic help, hands on; and I don’t mean "of the waitress kind”.

What you're effectively saying is that you can drive as often as you like while on drugs, repeatedly refuse to take a urine test for drugs when pulled over for erratic driving or worse and you'll never go to jail.

You can get jail time for a misdemeanor, it's very unlikely for a first offence but this won't be a first for Tiger.

Tiger Woods normally wouldn’t have to worry about jail time if found guilty of his Friday arrest, but a leading Florida criminal defense attorney says a previous charge increases his chances.

Don’t forget he has a hotline to D Chump. Kash Patel is bound to persecute the prosecutor in this case.

Do you think that means no Ryder cup captaincy this time around at least? Would be hard to imagine now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,968 ✭✭✭Trampas

What makes you think that? He’s had many falls but the media and people still treat him like he has done no wrong. So why would it be different now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 390 ✭✭Bocadilloo

Didnt say anything like that. It was at the press conference that they mentioned misdemeanor charge and he wouldn't be serving time.

What I meant was Woods is probably taking pain meds constantly and decided if caught to refuse a urine test.

Even before his links to Trump, I think we all know he is not serving jail time with his connections.

He should have a driver ffs but probably to mean to hire one (you'd be surprised). I heard when in the Ryder cup years ago he ran up a big phone bill in the K club and didnt pay it as he's "Tiger woods". I have heard a few similar stories of this nature to be honest. but these guys dont live in the real world and most thinks they likely do get for free.

In fairness, I hear he is a mean bastard...but would it not be fairly standard and reasonable if you are a player in the Ryder Cup ..everything..I mean everything is covered and practically on house anyway....

Anyway he gets an odd pass from golf fans and podcasts and the industry....I.mean if a mate of yours carried on like Woods ..he would just be a scumbag and an outcast...

He Probably needs to do time...yet pros etc will be all over him again..even likes of Rory and other golfers at top level..
