    Looking For recommendations please.

We have a Stanley solid fuel at the moment but not happy with it at all.

Wondering how efficient oil stoves with a back boiler are.

Seems like a bad time to switch to an oil stove, tbh. I have both. A wood burning stove and an oil burner but neither connected to a back boiler. The oil burner provides incredible heat but it burns oil which is not all that cheap. The oil stove also requires electricity so when we lost power for 6 days, it was useless whereas the wood burning stove kept us heated. If you only have the one stove, I would suggest approaching cautiously or at least making sure you also get a good generator.
