Strong winds with biblical rain at times yesterday. This morning I can see snow on the mountain tops nearby. 2C. Sun at the moment. Feeling bitter outside.

Lots of hail showers in North Ros today. Feel like we don’t see as many of them these days

Couple of rattles of thunder. Torrential hail and bit of everything else.

Dusting this morning with a bit of altitude. This pic is around 150/160m.

Some interludes of sunshine. Very windy.

Absolutely freezing in Dublin. It's almost April. Utter misery all year. Heating will still be on through June the way things are going.

Its been a very cold day here in Longford. Snow, hail, rain and good sunshine at times, but wind would bite you. The next few days promised better, I hope so.

Hail and wind all day in Sligo. Winds not easing either. Still 65kph in Finner 45kph here.

Its due to have died down significantly by midnight. Cat staring at horizontal rain currently. Feels like 0c

No red here in north Longford. A grey, dry morning. A lot milder than the last couple of days. Currently 6c in near calm weather.

C'mon temperatures, please rise a bit! Grey, dull, chilly feeling in Kerry. At this time of the year I'm done with greyness and cool temperatures. I'm over Winter (and Spring is often an extension of Winter). I crave bit of sunshine and heat!

Horrendous day yesterday. The wind would take the skin of ye. Plant plots and dust bins flying about. Electric went out for 30 mins or so last night. Rain sleet and hail to top it all off.

Quiet morning thank goodness. 5C. Cloudy. Leitrim.

Any Francophiles able to see if this map has an option for the next day or 2 days ahead?

    Very dull day.

This day last week in a tshirt on my travels. Today back out with warmer clothes. Boo.

Sounds well breezy out there tonight.

Sorry barely been on this , was snowing here yesterday 1 minute and then blue skies the next, very bipolar March weather at its finest 👌 at least it's milder tonight

All the models are below on that page, both high resolution out to a couple of days like AROME, WRF, and ECMWF , ARPEGE, ICON-EU, GFS will give you a good indication.

thanks, I had a play around with them.

I manually have to go through the hours. I just wanted to create a gif for some rugby buddies.

Well we had a few hours of cloudy but pleasent weather. 8C. Now the heavens have opened. Rain.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,089 ✭✭✭Bishop of hope

Good enough morning here till about 11. Then a big shower of rain. About 1pm i was nearly knocked out by hailstones. Caught out about 500 meters from the yard with no rain jacket. Had to run, but drowned right through before I got in out of it. Showered and changed now, feet up and I intend to leave it at that for the day.

I've been taking old wood decking to pieces today. Or should I say, trying to. In and out of the house this afternoon because of the weather. Rain or sleet or hail with accompanying wind. On my 3 jumper of the day.
