Shelly Plus 1 on HKC 10270

    Hi everyone,

Ive tried to get my firmware updated on my 10270 with no success. I am now exploring other routes to arm/disarm/get notification when alarm happen on my 10270.

Ive come across Shelly Plus 1, a Smart Relay Switch that could potentially do what I want.

Wiring would be on an unused zone (to trigger an alarm) and using one of the outputs for status feedback into Home Assistant.

From what I understand in the manual, using a zone configured as “Key” input, opening/closing the loop should arm/unset the system. The Shelly would basically simulate that by momentarily opening the circuit.

For notifications, I would use Output 1 programmed as alarm/bell active and feed that into the Shelly input to get state changes into HA.

Before I go ahead and wire anything:

    • Has anyone actually done this on a 10270?
    • Any issues with using a zone like this for arm/disarm?
    • Any gotchas with PGM outputs and voltage levels?
    • Is this stable long term or am I asking for trouble?

Not looking to use SecureComm or pay subscription, just want basic remote control + alerts through HA.

    Thanks
