Help needed with Firmware upgrade

Hello everyone, new user here :)

We recently moved into a house around Rathduff that had some issues with door and windows sensors.. They were burned up by the sun basically.

I called up the phoen number on the outdoor alarm and was told that walk in calls are 150€… I have nothing against paying professionals to do their jobs but the tone of the voice and the fact that a price was provided before looking made me mad..

Since I did not have the engineer codes, I simply replaced the board from a 1070 to a 10270 running 4.3.1 out of the box. That way, I was able to pin point exactly which sensors were faulty, and replace them for 5€ a pop..

Today, I purchased a 4G+WIFI from a distributor (where I bought the 10270 board), I noticed the box saying needs 4.4+ FW. I asked about it and the guy said it should be ok.. I tried the board but no power was sent to it, and it was not recognized by the system (Under Communicators, I do not see GSM+4G but only GSM)

I am myself a cybersecurity engineer, and try to be independant from others since we bought our house.

My ask: I understand I need SmartLink 700 to update the firmware to make it work, I obviously do not have access to that software since I am not a registered installer. What are my options as a DYI guy to update the firmware? I see a USB port on it but I guess I would need the FW itself.. Is there anyone that can help me please? I am ready to pay "virtually" for the help!

    Many Thnkas!
