Pantheon of Innocents

In the wake of the civil case involving Gerry Adams which was recently concluded without an outcome, I was thinking of Ireland's great and good who have had to endure trials and tribulations in court, but have managed to stay out of jail and demonstrated their innocence to the world. I know Gerry was interned but he is suing the British Government for compensation for that, and some others have had convictions, but got away with a slap on the wrist. The ones I am thinking about have either had tribunal or court issues and have come away innocent, we should maybe build a Pantheon of Innocents with their statues. The ones I can recall are:

    Gerry Adams

    Michael Lowry

    Bertie Ahern

    Paul Murphy

    Denis O'Brien

Are there others to be added to this list, had court trouble, but stayed out of jail? The likes of Liam Lawlor and Ray Burke did jail time, so they stay off the list, but are there others I have forgotten?
