I am more and more minded to see all his flip-flopping on Iran as being similar to his TACO-ing on tariffs against countries around the world. He sees it akin to a trade dispute solvable by making threats and then cancelling them and claiming he has beaten the Iranians again. Its all in his mind, not the mindset of a normal adult or the usual way adults deal with each other on disputes.

MAGA rule 101

1) approach something that should be left alone ✅

2) announce that they have to fix this✅

3) f**k matters up which weren't f**ked up before✅

4) blaim Obama/Biden✅

5) desperately flail around ✅

6) announce the deal which will inevitably be either the same that was on the table before, or worse.

7) say that Obama and Biden couldn't have done achieved such a great deal

8) claim victory

They've backed down, thankfully. Surely because of the markets, not due to any humanitarian considerations

There isn't any talks with Iran, he completely underestimated Iran and they have backed him into a corner and he is trying to save face by saying Iran want to deal.

So “5 days”-.markets close for the weekend in 5 days time - so expect bombings of Iranian targets Friday night/early Saturday morning

He was obviously told that the bond markets would go into meltdown if he followed through so he bottled it as usual.

Iran is a despot regime but they are playing a blinder on their side. Showing Trump up badly and being brazen enough to announce it. Trump will be sick as he knows everyone can see in plain sight how weak he is.
