Good to see an increasing number of operations at DOHA this morning.

Given the latest attack, I suspect they will be slow to recommence all but the most important operations. I wonder will they seek to park the airframes elsewhere.

I’d say the delay back then was probably a combination of operational issues rather than just one single cause. Long delays like that often come from late inbound aircraft, crew duty limits, or technical checks that take longer than expected. Once a widebody like that gets delayed, it tends to snowball through the schedule.

Regarding the current situation, it wouldn’t surprise me if services like Dublin are lower priority compared to core routes, especially with recent instability. Airlines usually consolidate operations around key hubs first. Parking aircraft elsewhere or reducing frequencies is pretty standard in uncertain conditions.

That's unfortunate. I had a flight cancelled in March too and they refunded me in about 3 weeks, I didn't have to do anything more than just request it online.
