Have never been disappointed with Xiaomi product over the last 10 years. Depending on price I might take a punt on one.

Anyone an idea if this will be available in Europe or UK/Ireland in 2025.

Very little ownership/long term reviews on this but looks like a cracking piece of kit.

Tariff will probably impact price but should still be good value for the buyer.

Interested if anyone has seen it in the flesh?

planned to enter Europe before 2030.

Bit of a wait so which is a shame

Any source for this? I know they are flat out manufacturing for the indigenous market but up to 2030 is a long wait. Not one to throw money at a new car but this could be.the exception.

    Ms

They will need all new cars by then if that's the case as this will be old by then.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

Ford imported one to Chicago. CEO has been driving it for 6 months and doesn’t want to give it up.

There’s a thread on Reddit about these hitting the UK this month but I can’t find any source to back it up, I know a few months ago they were looking for staff for the international launch.

Be great if they hit the UK and Irish market, looks to be a class car. Be interesting to see the price point

I hope it does, we’re potentially looking at a 40k Porsche Taycan beater after china taxes. Probably Paddy tax on top of that will take it to 50k.

They make seriously reliable gear, no warranty problems with their tech, they just work and stay working.

See the Weevee link on that reddit sub with the large battery SU7 on a rental scheme it seems. Have never considered buying a new car but have been intrigued by this since launch it would sell like hot cakes if priced in line with your Seals and the new Xpengs

Couldn't quite tell from the video but is it a hinged boot lid like the Model 3 or a hatch like the Polestar 2?

    It's a hinged boot lid.

We can get into particulars when it's in a showroom

    Not anytime soon:

At an MWC press conference this week, Xiaomi's president, William Lu, announced that the company plans to sell its EVs globally within the next few years. This will likely take longer than Xiaomi would like, but it seems prepared to stay the course. "Obviously, there are a lot of complexities trying to get a product like a car into global markets," said TJ Walton, the company's senior product marketing manager. "It's got a lot more pieces [and] a lot more complex technology than a smartphone does."

Exactly where Xiaomi's cars might land when they go global is still to be confirmed, but Europe is likely to be a target. "The EU is one of the regions around the world that is pushing the hardest to move strictly to EVs," said Desjarlais. This presents "a massive opportunity," although he added that Xiaomi must examine the regulatory challenges closely.
