I went back to just eat and checked the map, looks like it's located in Captain Americas with the other dark kitchens for the likes of Wow Burger and Elephant and Castle

Irish master franchiser is Applegreen I thought, but they may well be franchising it beyond their own stores.

A previous thing they were master franchiser for here was Wimpy, that didn't really go very well!

5 To Go, Romanian coffee shop, going into empty premises in Tyrellstown at the refurbished Lidl.

It was more than a refurbishment, I think the original one was completely levelled and a a new building put up.

That 5 To Go place is a pretty big chain across Europe, good to see it go in instead of a Costa anyway.

Tesco are opening a new supermarket in Tyrellstown in a development called Kilmartin Centre. Fit out has begun with a planned opening later this year.

Romayos Chipper in Blanchardstown, near the church has reopened as Bertos. Very fast turnaround so not sure if it is part of the family business. It's basically the old layout with some new decor.

menu looks nice for a takeaway but the prices are more premium. Reviews on Google are ridiculously amazing so I wouldn't pay them any heed. All sound suspiciously like the paid reviews in lovin' dublin which generally puts me off a place. My favorite for a takeaway is:

"I don’t think I’ve ever stepped into an establishment like this and been overcome with such joy, the exquisite food brought a tear to my eye as nothing I have tasted before has even come close to what bertos provided today."

    Class !!

Menu for Bertos was dropped through the door and my worry is that they seem to do everything, pizzas, pasta, sandwiches, burgers, wraps, breakfasts?!?!.…

Never found anywhere that does such a vast range to be any good.

Will probably try it at some point through convenience but not in any rush

Whatever oil they use doesn't agree with me at all. Either they changed something years ago or my system changed and can't tolerate it. Don't have the same issues in other places.

Never noticed that chipper there. Most have past it a hundred times.

Had similar issues when Burger King changed their oil type.

Berto's caught my eye the other night, must check out the menu

Maybe as I get older I can't tolerate these foods anymore.
