Has anyone signed up for it yet? It's €95 this year, no word on the schedule of games yet though.

Mine is set to auto-renew. It's gone up to €95. It was 80 last year.

just got notification of renewal too, not sure yet…. its very hard to renew before you know what games theyll show! might just go with the 3 game passes I think….

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,606 ✭✭✭legendary.xix

They pulled the 3 game pass last year halfway through trying to force people into a mid season pass. I wasn't happy. The 3 game pass would have been good. Had used it before.

Just your standard ~20% increase - must be due to the war!

Clubber are going to start charging €199.99 for an annual subscription.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,431 ✭✭✭lukin

Total disgrace. Especially considering their coverage is fairly amateur.

Good schedule of games. Yearly subscription great value, granted it's gone up. Still less than €100. You'd spend more than that on a night in a moderate hotel.

Auto renewed @ €79 for me.

You’d have thought the likes of the Lower Division League Finals would’ve been ideal for a platform like this

15 quid to steam the games from NYC this evening which is one thing , but the stream is absolutely unwatchable. Joke job....they can stream live from the far side of the moon, but not from the Bronx

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,514 ✭✭✭megadodge

To echo the post above, the stream from New York is dreadful. Constant freezing and blurring.

I'll be writing to them to complain.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,165 ✭✭✭Krazy gang

really? Thought its 95 or something for this year

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,814 ✭✭✭theoneeyedman

The quality of the steam was shocking, and the response that annual subscribers got was underwhelming when they complained.

Not good enough - one wonders why lads are reluctant to pay a year upfront and rely on the fire stick

Well, as promised, I wrote to them (in fairness, it was in reply to an apology email they sent out about the coverage) and they have agreed to give me my next match for free.

    I can't complain about that.

But I was a one-off buyer, whereas those who pay for an annual subscription have no such luck, I believe.

Even if I had all the time in the world, at the very most I would only want to watch the hurling matches and a couple of football matches. Realistically I'll be doing well to see about six hurling matches. So getting a couple of 3-for-2 bundles suits me best. And even if I need to purchase a single match on its own it will still work out cheaper than paying €95

commentary team all over the place on GAA + missing red cards

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,428 ✭✭✭FullBack Jam

I like the analysts. Bit of character to them. But I thought it was funny yesterday Ritchie Hogan trying to defend the Kilkenny defender who hit the Galway lad in the head with the hurl - Ritchie deemed he was unlucky to get a black card. Unsurprisingly, he also thought the Kilkenny player who got the red card at the start of the second half was unlucky - even though the Kilkenny guy led with his elbow and caught the Galway player in the head. Ritchie acknowledged that it was a red card, but the Kilkenny guy was unlucky to have made contact with the other player (even though he stuck out his elbow, and ran at him). A bit bizarre.

What's the point of GAAPlus when they show none of the Leinster football games today?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,899 ✭✭✭decies

it’s mad between clubber tv and gaa plus streaming services they still manage not to cover so many games .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,431 ✭✭✭lukin

Yeah I know, I am paying for both of them and I don't feel I am getting value for money.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,899 ✭✭✭decies

I reuse to pay 199 for clubber , they offered it to Waterford supporters club 50% off but they sneakily had give you only a couple of months to sign up meaning if you were already a signed up clubber subscriber you lost out . That happened to me I then decided screw this not then paying full price so clubber lost me as a subscriber .

    Sc

Have to say the GAA plus production is very good. The whole package is well put together.

What was going on with the camera work for Tipperary v Cork football game? It was like they had placed it on the roof of the stand?
