    Hi all, hope someone may be able to help with where I am going wrong. I've had the apple iTunes method set up for a year or more now but stupidly let the vouchers run out this week.

    I have logged back into my turkey apple id, which is fine, have been able to add new vouchers. My issue arises in when I sign into YouTube using the existing personal account that I have, which also manages the family. I get an error message saying could not verify your country.

    I can subscribe using the apple id in ITunes but this is not the family manager so will not allow me to share with the rest of the family.

    Has anyone had this issue before and know a way around it? Id prefer not to change family managers as I have Google one storage through this personal id too

    Resubscribe to your lapsed expired YouTube Premium through the iPhone App Store, under account/subscriptions with the Apple ID you signed up with & added the vouchers.

    Thanks for your help. Problem I have is my previous lapsed subscription is not showing under subscriptions in apple settings, is there a trick to how I can get that to show again here?

    Are you 100% sure you're signed into your Turkey App Store account? Correct email on this account, would be sending you monthly payment receipt & sign up information?

    You should see balance in TL & any subscription should be listed even if it's expired in last year.

    Yes its the Turkey account. I think by subscribing with the other account that I have in my family, it may have removed the lapsed.

    Not sure, but cancelling and waiting the month for that new sub to expire I may get the option to resubscribe to the original.

    Serves me right for not following the instructions correctly!

    Maybe chill on your capital letters. I have had the same issue, followed the instructions and it's still not working. Of course it's possible we are doing something wrong, but don't assume it.

    I know it's a gamble but I managed to get a 12 month individual YT premium sub for just over €20 yesterday, if I even only get a couple of months out of it I won't complain.

    my friend lives in Pakistan, if he uses his address and card to pay for a sub can i use that sub in ireland or will they clamp down on it?

    I don't think any of us can tell you that either way with any certainty.

    In theory it should be fine, in fact It might be worth exploring the idea of getting your pal to create a family, and let him use one of the slots, that way there's definitely YouTube Pakistan traffic on the acc.

    My you tube family is years old now and all live in separate addresses with zero issues. We did get busted by netflix though

    Time is contagious, everybody's getting old.

    My sister lives in the UK and got kicked out of my (polish) family. My mum went to visit her for 4 days and was also kicked out 🙄. I'm gonna re-add her and see what happens.

    The only reason I pay is so my family can use it. They stop that I'll simply raise the flag.

    Has smart tube stopped working on anyone else?

    Perhaps there's an update, but previously when this was the case, I got on-screen prompts to do so. I'm not in front of my TV now, but I definitely wasn't seeing any onscreen prompts to update it earlier in the week.
