Went to the local parade. Was great. Warm and sunny makes all the difference. Everyone enjoying themselves. Beats a wet cold Paddy's day. ☘️☘️☘️

Relaxing on the couch now watching parade. Did an hours work that I needed done yesterday this morning.

Going to for a walk soon and grab a hot chocolate if Butlers is open.

Will return and attempt a Guinness and Beef pie and watch the Shamrock Presentation at the White House later. I'm expecting the orange twat to be in a bad mood so hope MM is ready.

The good old days of a full day pissup for me are gone. Need to be sharp. A day of pints would write off my week.

nothing whatsoever to be fair. Gaming, good food and that shall be it.

In terms of exercise I’ll wait till tonight, grab the headphones and go on one of my monster walks…find that so relaxing / cathartic and enjoyable but winds gusting over 20 kilometres an hour here last while so that ain’t enjoyable so be why I’ll wait till tonight.

I'm in Germany. I have the making of a fry in the freezer and some cans of Guinness nitro.

Recently got my physical done. Came back perfect except for cholesterol. So no fry up for me. Still going to have a Guinness. I've been a good boy for the last month so I deserve it.

Watched a bit of the end of the parade on TV after getting up very late. Went for a short walk in the park and later a drive out in the country with my OH.

Getting a roast chicken dinner ready now.

    #MEGA MAKE EUROPE GREAT AGAIN

No point opening a separate thread on this - but jayzuz-imagine inside the mind of this Cupid stunt who thought it would be a good idea to bring a Jeffrey Epstein trailer to a St Patrick’s Day parade directed at children

Would be an issue if there was anyone in Mayo to actually see it…

    Whatever happened to " The West's Awake " ?

Once rendered with such passion but many were asleep yesterday.

Watched the Butcher Boy on TG4, enjoyed it, they really nailed that Monaghan accent.

I do miss that about jobs where I worked bank holidays.

People could never understand when I said I had 30 days holidays a year.

The parade on Sunday was a bit nuts. Saw grown men blown backwards trying the cross the road by the river.

I've worked both bank holidays this year and because im taking my big stint of annual leave around Easter it means I essentially can add an extra week to my holiday as good Friday and Easter Monday are already days off that I don't use annual leave for. So instead of a 2 week holiday I have a 3 week holiday

Decided to go to the cinema at Liffey Valley instead and bought the kids a hot chocolate in Butlers. It was too windy to take them to the parade. We didn’t miss much, according to those who went. Was anyone here at the parade with the Epstein float?

Went out for a nice carvery dinner with the missus and had one pint of Guinness with it. Later that afternoon i cut the lawn and power washed my car. Sat down that night watching Netflix with 3 bottles of Guinness before retiring to bed @ 11.30pm as i was back to work the next morning.
