Might be one for the real radio anoraks, but thought I would have seen some chatter about the falling out of the biggest radio show in Australia!

Really is a sight to behold and I'm surprised it hasn't happened sooner. As much as I liked the show (I work nights every now and again so would stick it on occasionally, especially if I was on my own), it was so obvious that Kyle Sandilands was a Grade-A arsehole from the outset.

Jackie said she couldn't work with him again, so ARN (which owns KIIS) terminated her contract and Kyle could have his terminated tomorrow. Both of them are claiming wrongful termination of a contract and are seeking damages. About 2 years ago they signed a 10 year deal worth 100million dollars each. Unbelieveable money.

Anyway, anyone have any thoughts?

The money in Australian radio has always been utterly insane. That's basically my only takeaway from this.

That and trusting shock jocks to be sane is a bad idea.

my first thought when I hear such stories of presenters walking out / falling out is that it's possibly a publicity stunt ??

Well considering ARN has reported all of this to the Australian Stock Exchange, I don't think this is a stunt.

They gave them the massive contracts on based on them going into Melbourne. When that turned out to flop it fucked ARN financally so they had to get rid of them somehow is a rumour going around. Two fuckin degenerates anyway.
