Hi Folks, would anyone have any update on Wexford? I have interviewed and passed but haven’t received any offer of a position yet…. PAS said if I am “ not in clearance for a position before the 27th “then that’s it, game over! I was high 40’s before interview….

Unfortunately, if you have not entered clearance for a role by 27/03/2026 then the panel will close and you will not receive a role.

Adding a bit context for Dublin area. I was told they called all candidates from batch 16 and when that's completed they will call batch 17. If you enter clearance by March 27, you are fine but if not they will not receive a role. Like I said this is batch number is for Dublin area.

no. Batch 16 I think is done and no one called from 17 yet. I just verified my id for the 2026 comp since it’s closing on the 27th. :(

I did this today as well. I'm 3 oom in batch 17 but since there's no guarantee of anything moving I have to.

Why do you think 16 is done? This doesnt half wreck my nerves

It's tough to know what way it will go. According to public jobs the recruitment process should be demand led (link below). I don't know if that means there should be a position for everyone in the batch, or that they call small batches anticipating calling some in the batch as open roles come until the batch is exhausted.

What makes little sense is I get this happening if there was delays or they didn't know how the panel will go but surely with 3 weeks to go they wouldn't of called over 50 people for the hell of it knowing they wouldn't place most of them surely they would of know the time frame and how many positions they could fill

Never heard of just one interview done. Always seems to be in batches and then new OOM awarded passed on results from that batch. Also, can't say that everyone called will pass interview so have to call X amount for X amount of potential roles.

As I've said, the process is so frustrating. I've sat at 1, 2 and 3 OOM after interview on various panels over the years and didn't get offered a position. Panel expired and that was it. I've came to just know what to expect, and in the end just let if go on in background and not let it get to me (easier said that done). Since has worked out for me, but it was a long time waiting.

The old platform was due to be retired at the end of February IIRC.

Any messages in relation to hiring going forward for this panel you will get via email that's why they closed it now it's cause this is just all clearance now you won't see anything on the new platform in relation to this you just have to wait for an email or email clearance

Are You on the internal panel? I think they can only pull from that one. But your HEO should be able to tell you where that is now
