And we give out about de rest of de wurld mixing up Ireland with de UK and whatnot......

Is it any surprise dat happens sometimes with ambassadors like dat ?

It's a disgrace Joe Kieran ! Surely dere's a way we can revoke her birthright, maybe even jailtime ?

Whaddya mean she was probably flustered on de biggest night of her life, thinking about her Brit fella dat she lives with, with her half-Brit chisler in Britland ? Or dat she mentioned Irish or Ireland a few other times before dat.

That's rational speak, and we don't like dat round dese parts.

    Hang her !

An El Presidente pardon, listening to RTE. At least RTE have upgraded from talking to the lad who cleaned the windows on her family home, to a former teacher.

Robbed by the BBC according to Audrey from RTE. She must not have been paid the big money to stay here.

    Jaysus!

My worst fears realised….Buckley wins the Oscar…the luvvies gone into overdrive on MI….everybodys great…..Everybodys great….we have to listen to wall to wall gushing for the next month.

    FFS!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,282 ✭✭✭mykrodot

    THIS!

Fair play to Jessie Buckley, she seems like a great actress and a down to earth person. But for God sake, the unlimited gushing coverage from all media outlets has been insane…….for months! It's overdrive and overkill. What else can they say now?

Here in Killarney we had Andrea Gilligan and the Lunchtime Live team camped out last Thursday, she was even talking to Queenie the jarvey's horse! It will be non stop drooling and gushing for weeks on end now. As I say delighted Jessie won, but media have no restraint anymore, they should have played it down until the Oscar, the BIG ONE!

Now they'll be feckin interviewing everyone out trying to do their shopping, and all the American tourists walking around the town for "Paddies Day"! Ugh no more radio for a few days for me!

What did Queenie have to say? Is he happy with Ozempic reducing the weight of tourists?

For just 'A Month'. It will be like when England won the World Cup in 1966, and were still living in the glory of it 50 years later.

Whatever keeps them from talking about Dancing With The Nobodies on Liveline. They spent an entire show advertising that diarrhea last week.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,270 ✭✭✭✭Brendan Bendar

With you on that my friend, casa Bendar will be emotional free for next few days.

Between third cousins once removed being interviewed and the jarvey’s horse being involved
its going to be teary out in Montrosia for at least a month.

The O’Rourke one out in Montrosia apparently stalked the lass for the last few months so she said on MI

today and they were all “floods of tears” when she won.

Nothing against the lass herself but there’s an emotion overflow here ffs.

Indeed Mr S, all due to the Monaghan one who seems intent on having a crew down in the local pub when the results of the ‘Easter Meat Raffle’ is announced.

You’ll have tearfull interviews with Patsy Nugent who won the ‘Leg of Lamb’ and a Turkey Crown.

Ts all gone mad out there….

    New Lad,

    • Forgot to take the day off.
    • Kerrygold: Mick claims it is not the same as it once was.
    • Glass of Milk: The country lad still has a glass for with his dinner. Brendan thinks milk is only for children.
    • Sheep Farmers: A Duke is hiking their land rents.
    • Mental Hospitals: No records of burials. Group wants memorial walls constructed.

Caller talking about how he has to put more Kerrygold into his pâté to give it firmness, even though his recipe hasn't changed in decades. It's because Kerrygold has changed.

Will he be celebrating St. Pâté's Day tomorrow?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,106 ✭✭✭✭zell12

Caller, it is a €1bn food product globally. This is damaging to the brand

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,106 ✭✭✭✭zell12

Eh, they be talking about some other unknown Oscar winner - a Canadian-Irish one

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 815 ✭✭✭chrisd2019

Caller, you answered your own question!

Butter = hard fresh from the fridge.

Margarine = soft from the fridge.

Clearly the formulation has been altered in Mitchelstown

Ten posts during the show today. Has Joe's record been beaten?

To most of us little people, Yes, there IS a milking it point but to the beautiful people,

Milk the Bejaysus out of it.

This seems apt for todays show:

It's catching. Some presenter on LBC just now claiming that the creamiest Guinness he's ever had is the stuff that's brewed by the banks of the River Lee in Ireland 🤣🤣.

Shamrock thingy is an invasive plant in the USA. So Meehall's green herby plant must be destroyed by the Feds as soon as the photo shoot finishes. It is a disgrace, Joe
