Compare that to Canvot when Gudmundsson got sent off, I know who I would rather have in my dressing room.

If I said what I thought of Canvot I'd be in Boards prison longer than Enoch Burke! I'd love to see something done about him and not just cause it was against us.

Wonder can that red be appealed or given it was 2 yellows there's nothing can be done ….watching MOTD it was actually a Palace player told the ref he's already been booked and him with an 'Oh' surprised expression, fking joke

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,956 ✭✭✭adaminho

Only in a case of mistaken Identity so unless the ref turns around and says I made a mistake and thought it was a player I already warned it won't. As they said on the square ball, after the Bijol controversy he was always going to card the next challenge to take the sting out of it and then realised too late what he'd done.

Bijol is showing he's a bit ropey temperament wise under pressure, the push in the box the other week and there he was yesterday waving an imaginary card while being on a yellow, I'd kind of put those antics down to being in and out of the team he was solid enough when he had a good run in there

The Premier League admit we should have had a penalty against Sunderland. Fat lot of good that'll do if we go down!

Chelsea caught rotten paying millions under the table and get a slap on the wrist……

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,703 ✭✭✭✭whiterebel

Didn't seem to mention the penalty we should have had against Citeh either….

I never wished so much to have Billy or JG back, to dispense instant retribution

The leak of next seasons away kit looks like it'll sell out in seconds

Forest and Spurs winning in Europe, along with West Ham there's a real danger all 3 could pick up….if we don't start converting something into 3 pts pretty quick starting with Saturday we're approaching very icy ground

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,991 ✭✭✭downthemiddle

I would imagine that Forest progressing in Europe is a distraction for them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,145 ✭✭✭Carcharodon

I think Spurs getting that equalizer against Liverpool could give them a lot of momentum, 3pts is badly needed this weekend, Iam cautiously optimistic

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,404 ✭✭✭Ceist_Beag

Forest progressing is a good thing for us. We have a real chance this weekend to move ourselves away from those three teams and we appear to have a full squad available bar obviously Gabi, who will be missed but at least we know Justin will slot in there nicely. It wouldn't be Leeds if we didn't do it the hard way but I am hopeful that we can get the three points.

obviously a win is a must if we are to gain any separation from teams below us but are hoping for spurs v forest to end in a draw ? Thats such a huge game for not just them but for teams around them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,786 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

I think worst case is Forest win. Surely Spurs will salvage enough. Latest Forest manager has been awful and is totally over-shadowed by the collapse of Spurs, can't see them doing much for rest of season (famous last words).

Think just getting a win tonight is big enough, anything after that is a bonus

Edit: if leeds win, my preference is Spurs win marginally over draw

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,398 ✭✭✭newhouse87

Yeah I'd agree, spurs to win for me. I think west ham will get out too so forest our main danger.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,839 ✭✭✭sonofenoch

The wins have become so sparse , other teams push up around mid table by keeping things ticking over winning 1 in 3 or thereabouts, we need a performance like we had at home to Forest, West Ham and Palace to ease the worries..the Sunderland game is a concern that needs burying, arguably our least difficult home remaining and we **** it

a brutal start. Ampadu not with it at all. Too much fannying around at the back

    It's like playing Wimbledon.

Aaronson has reverted to his old self

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,036 ✭✭✭10000maniacs

We have been $hite so far.

Back to the levels before the first City game.

There is no attack whatsoever. We need changes quick.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,439 ✭✭✭Hijpo

As poor as we are Brentford aren't much better. Wont take much to win it by either side going by the first 30 odd minutes.

Hoping once again this is our bad half and we go through the gears in the second half.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,036 ✭✭✭10000maniacs

Two yellows for Struijk and Bogle in quick succession. We'll end up with 10 again.

Brentford have had the ball all game. They get the ball up into our box way too easily.

Can anybody remember the last time Leeds scored a goal in the prem? Its actually 6.2 hours.

We need Nmecha off the pitch and somebody more suitable like Okafor on to pair up with DCL.

Also Aaronson is having a stinker. Needs to be replaced with Gnonto or Tanaka.

The long throw ritual has become tedious, can only think of 1 time something came off with it with the Bijol flick against Chelsea yet we must do it a dozen times a game, suppose it's become a thing were everyone does it so you can't not do it
