Tired of just playing pubs and sessions and looking to get a trad band together.

I already have a couple players interested and looking to add 1 or 2 more.

Aim is to practice/rehearse, with a view to recording and playing festivals.

Will be playing pub gigs and sessions along the way and using these as 'paid practice'

Not interested in rock trad or anything with drums, bass guitar etc- just into playing quality, well played trad!!!

Give us a shout if you play Irish music and are interested.

    Hi Zouk2003,

Any more details on this? I play pipes, whistles and fiddle albeit a bit rusty at the moment having being focused on another project.

Sorry for the 3 year late reply!!! Are you still playing?

Hi. Yes still playing. Did you pull a project together? Where you based?

Trying again to organise a get together. Plan is to use a Dublin 8 rehearsal space with a view to playing reels/jigs and few songs... hopefully lead to a few gigs. Interested?

I'm not based in Dublin and wouldn't really be keen on rehearsals in Dublin city. But happy to consider the rehearsal spaces in Sandyford Ind. Est. What instrument(s) do you play?

Looks good to me... how are Sundays for you?

I play banjo and sing. Also play bouzouki.
