delighted to see him go with the 2 up top. Took a tough decision to play Bijol and drop Bogle. Fingers crossed

Aaronson has got to hit the target there. What a waste of a chance.

Lets them go with 2 early bookable offences, 2 Leeds yellows first opportunity..maddening

    Its a difficult battle.

Palace defending every cross very well. Getting back behind the ball quickly so we cant break. Nothing is easy for us.

    Leeds that.

Tails up for palace now after that I feel. Huge let off for them.

Sort of moment you remember when you get relegated.

DCL going full Bamford just when we need it most, we do pick em

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,439 ✭✭✭Hijpo

The ref has made an absolute hames of that... that is absolute **** disgraceful. My god.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,703 ✭✭✭✭whiterebel

referee in not knowing whats he's doing shocker….

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,036 ✭✭✭10000maniacs

Haven't used the term "bottle jobs" yet and trying not to be dramatic, but it is starting to have the same vibes as the last season we went down.

Leeds should be 2-0 up but DCL literally does a Bamford and misses a penalty and then moments later Gudmundsson sent is off.

These are the moments that you look back on when you go down, similar to that Crystal Palace match in 2023 that decided our fate.

Same craic as Sunderland disallowed goal they score the other end, missed pen followed by a red

It's all coming together in predictable fashion

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,782 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

Ite as predictable. At least it hasn't been a meagre nothing season like previous promotion teams attempts

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,036 ✭✭✭10000maniacs

Very deep. If we continue like this we will concede.

Johnson's 4 tackles were all worse than Gudmundsson's second tackle. Not even a yellow.

    shocking ref yet again.

Take That all day long with forest and hammers drawing this weekend.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,036 ✭✭✭10000maniacs

Priceless point but Leeds were the better team up to the point of the penalty and the red card. We would have held on at 0-1. Palace were $hit. Such a waste of 2 points.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,703 ✭✭✭✭whiterebel

A hard earned point. Keeps as away from WH. Ref bottled it not sending of Johnson.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,145 ✭✭✭Carcharodon

Well earned point, we can definitely feel a bit aggrieved but fair play for the team and Farke for earning that point.

Watching it in a bar in Vietnam which was interesting, wife wasn’t too impressed but she knows what to expect at this point….lol

Very valuable point and you would have to say fully deserved. Even a man down you couldn't say we were under huge pressure. We're defending well as a team this year. Rodon was immense once again. Hopefully Spurs are beaten later which would leave us better off after the weekend overall.

Another invaluable away point. It’s great to see a group of players that are really playing for the jersey.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,839 ✭✭✭sonofenoch

He genuinely looked surprised when he realised Gudmunsson had already been booked, that and missing countless others

The standard is getting worse given they rely on VAR for 60% of the workload

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,439 ✭✭✭Hijpo

Why was the foul even a booking?? The ball was loose, both players lunged. It wasnt cynical, it wasnt an attempt to stop the player.

The no D*ckheads rule is really working well in the dressing room. I can't think of a single player I don't want at the club attitude wise.
