How many hours between them ?

Also re joining wars that have already been won. WWI and WWII in Europe would have been won without US boots on the ground.

Can the rest of the world, who are not Trump supporters, do a class action suit against him for the pain, suffering and loss he has dumped on us? Bit like 'Trading Places', best way to hurt a rich man is make him poor (or something like that).

    Imagine DJT poor? 😂

So you would rather the Straits be closed , have oil prices rise, risk of recession because you would rather see Trump fail.

Oh come on. He’s nearly 80 and never faced consequences once in his life. He already instated a puppet in Venezuela. He already has an oil embargo on Cuba and the people there are suffering severely and he said he’s going there next.

He started this war without UN approval. He’s a bully ****. He needs this to blow up in his face or he’ll never stop. After Cuba, where else will he go? Greenland and after that who knows. He needs to lose the midterms this will help with that because if he continues on abated we’ll all suffer more in the long run. He’s a cancer , he doesn’t deserve to get bailed out. F him

I'd take some pain at this stage to put him back in his box. What's the alternative? We keep going on like this? Tariffs, kidnapping, pedophilia, wars, enabling Putin, hanging his 'allies' out to dry, possibly invading an ally, economic uncertainity. It's got to stop.

The best class action is to remove the USD as the reserve currency. Game over for the US

The Straits of Hormuz situation is totally on Trump. He started this war and was totally unprovoked into doing it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,776 ✭✭✭.Donegal.

I know you’re one of those fanboys of his by your previous posts but the only person F us here is him and his stupidity but you daren't say anything against the dear leader. Sad!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,319 ✭✭✭the whole year inn

Im not his fanboy. Came into this post and posters are delighted the lanes are closed, millions of people will suffer because they hate Trump and want to see him fail at any costs. One posters laughing because Trump asked for support, while it will affect his own work, bank account and his family .Now thats stupid.

Millions of people are suffering because of Trump. None of us are responsible for the consequences of **** around while devoid of basic strategy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,356 ✭✭✭✭Leroy42

Nobody is delighted. But they are well aware that if they do get involved it won't be appreciated, recepritataed or even acknowledged.

Has Trump acknowledged that he shouldn't have gone into this without consulting his allies? Has he put forward any long term solutions apart from other countries bailing him out?

How about he agrees to hold Russia responsible for the damage they have caused in Ukraine, agrees to stop with the tariff nonsense and agrees that the US does need its allies and he can't simply stomp about as some type of world president.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,776 ✭✭✭.Donegal.

At least be honest you are his fanboy. You were making excuses for that video posted that depicted the Obamas as apes that trump had nothing to do with it. You’re always defending him.

You do realise posters here have no control over the strait of Hormuz. It’ll affect your work, bank account and family because of what trump did not because of what people post here.

So where’s your criticism of trump for impacting you financially? Seems you’re only criticising nobodies like myself that have zero power and not the actual cancer that caused this entire mess.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,138 ✭✭✭✭odyssey06

Zero criticism of Trump for the mess he has created. Zero consideration of how it plays out long term if Trump is bailed out of this mess, what even bigger mess does he create next.

Sure reads like a "Im not a Trump supporter but" takeand a pretty poor one at that.

So how about Trump shows some humility , apologises for the insulting and demeaning comments and actions against his allies and promises to do better , get rid of tariffs ,and then asks them to help him out of the situation he has dragged the US into ?

That would be the normal course of action for somebody who has behaved as he has .while looking for help .

Of course his supporters will say as you do that F Europe for not helping him, it's in their own interests .

But is it ? He has sanctions lifted off Russian oil , that's not in Europe's interests . Money going to Putin to help him in a war on a country on our Eastern border and maybe helping him to advance further . How is that in our interest ?

Trump is behaving more as an enemy to us than an ally .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,319 ✭✭✭the whole year inn

I disagree with some of his actions and posts and policys and other I agree with does that make a fanboy if so then I am.

Yea I agree we have no say in the matter, but all he done was ask for support from Ally countries and posters losing there mind over it, some even welcoming the suffering with it being closed . Do you not see how crazy that is.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,776 ✭✭✭.Donegal.

So still no actual criticism of dear leader for causing this mess that in your own words is affecting your family , but your ire is with posters on boards.ie the famous policy makers of the world.

I’ll tell you what’s crazy , starting an ill prepared war and not factoring in that the straits of Hormuz would be closed. The Iranians have been broadcasting this for decades, every military analyst could tell you this would happen. Even I a nobody knew it would happen. But yes still nothing from you, direct your anger towards the fool you follow for this . It’s getting embarrassing now.

"but all he done was ask for support from Ally countries"

That's your take, all he done was ask for support????

Surely the obvious helper Trump should call upon is Putin

On whose behalf he has continually limited ukraines fire power.

On whose behalf he excluded Ukraine from peace talks on several occasions

Putin, who is benefitting daily from the increased oil price caused by an illegal war launched by Israel and the US together.

Will Putin come to the ME and if so to help whom? Don’t think it will be Trump.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,319 ✭✭✭the whole year inn

My ire is them welcoming the suffering just to spite Trump.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 6,331 ✭✭✭roosterman71

Did you see how crazy it is to be acting the hoor on those same allies. Be that tariffs, threatening invasion or supporting the Russians at war on the edge of Europe

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,356 ✭✭✭✭Leroy42

Do you see how crazy it is that you are taking a known liar side as if he's asking for help is perfectly normal and should be treated as anything other than the ramblings of a mad man?

He hasn't even really asked, its more a demand. A demand you appear to agree with as you think it is in everyone's interest to get involved even when we know nothing of what is involved or even what Trump will do if we do get involved?

I remind you that Trump has systematically ripped up every agreement. He has attacked the UN, ripped up Climate accords, destroyed world trade with tariffs, continues to debase the EU and if openly siding with Russia over Ukraine.

But you think the best course of action is simply cede to his demand?

Poor Putin would be caught between his friends in Iran and his friend in the White House .

But he has probably told Trump to ask the European allies ,not to mention Zelensky who is helping fight the drones that Russia sent to Iran , with anti drone tech.

Weaken Europe and Ukraine , guarding and fighting on 2 fronts .

How unfair we are all being to poor Donnie who is just trying to ensure that the world has its supply of oil 😊

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,615 ✭✭✭fergiesfolly

    Trump doesn't do sharing.

Successes are his alone and failures are everyone else's fault. Every navy in the world turns up in the Straits and it's still his victory. No one does and the failure is Starmers, or Macrons or Bidens or whoever.

People have to stop analyzing Trump and his actions through a prism of logic, pragmatism, self awareness, conscience and most of all, foresight.

None of this exists in his universe. His brain is a melting pot of mental offal and entrails. His mouth just spews endless streams of unintelligible brain spasms. The last one unconnected to the next one.

The only articulated thought in his head is " Is this good for Trump?" If the answer is yes, then everything else are unavoidable consequences for everyone else. Which he's quiet willing to live with. Happy to live with even.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,319 ✭✭✭the whole year inn

Yes but there is alot to unravel and expecting him to flip flop on all those points is unrealistic. This is the world we live in now so just get on with it but if was a chance that if the allies helped and stoped the price of oil going through the roof I would welcome that instead of saying I rather it to be closed just to get one up on Trump.

When Trump goes, the next president has no obligation to keep Carr on as a carry-over, as Biden appointees found. I imagine a future where Trump's appointees in Admin posts end up with "deplorable" stamped on their CV's.

"millions of people will suffer because they hate Trump"

    Try again.

Morelike millions will suffer because of Trump's actions.

Always deflecting. Never once is it his fault, always pointing the finger at anyone else.

I suppose those young girls threw themselves at him eh? Or he didn't really know what Epstein was up to?

10 plus years of f**k ups, insults, corruption, fascism, racism, sexism and bullsh1t machismo and you and his other cultists can't bring themselves to the realisation that he's a f**king con and you bought the snake oil.

Let me spell it out for you.

    He.

    Does.

    Not.

    Give.

    One.

    F**k.

    About.

    You.

Or anything you care about for that matter.

He'd gladly step on your back or anyone you care about to add one f**king cent to his enormous pile of stinking cash.

He is milking the United States and the broader world while people like you continue to delude yourself that he has anything else in his mind other than to get richer.

Let me Occam's razor this one for you.

"a problem-solving principle suggesting that when faced with competing hypotheses that explain the same data, the simplest explanation—requiring the fewest assumptions or entities—is usually the best"

It's not that the world is against him and it's their fault. He's an incompetent idiot who shouldn't be trusted with a remote control.

He f**ked around, and now he's gonna find out.

Elect a clown... Expect a circus
