Typical of him, he did wryly remark that 28 is a bit late for a player to be rising. It’s marvellous to see us scoring on the outside like that.

What has been most impressive is how he's gone looking for work. In the past at test level the game's seemed to pass him by without much involvement. It's like it finally clicked with him, and he's come off his wing and gotten far more involved in the games. He's looked more dangerous doing that too than he has in the past. The combo of his and TOB's pace, and their interplay with that speed looks absolutely lethal. I can't recall when we've ever really had that on both wings, tbh. It's a very exciting prospect to develop.

I’m sure there are many examples since but Denis Hickie against Wendell Sailor comes to my mind from a few geological eras ago.

England need a good start. If France get on top early, it could be a massacre

Heaslip was a great player , but a very boring pundit

    This kit clash is ridiculous

A few different sources texted me since yesterday that ROG is number 1 target for RFU and it actually might happen.

Anyone else hear this or is it a random rumour? I have no problem believing Borthwick will be gone by Wednesday, but ROG standing to attention as God Save The King blares out in the Aviva is a little harder to picture! Will he take his hands out of his pockets? LOL

Who signed off on these kits! That’s shocking

    These kits are a disgrace.

I love the French kit but it's too light in contrast to England's white kit.

This is a bit of a mess.

What f*cking genius decided on France playing in light blue against white.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,090 ✭✭✭irelandrover

Ireland and Wales can't wear red and green. But France can wear very very very light blue against the White of england?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,726 ✭✭✭swiwi_

white and a faint light blue. Hmm

Why the f... Are France wearing light blue shirts??? Appalling. I can't tell the difference with my eyes...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,162 ✭✭✭✭thebaz

Whats with the the pale blue French jersey. ??

Its actually confusing , considering they had Wales change jersey last week, when little colour clash.

    Crazy kit clash

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,483 ✭✭✭John arse

Why aren't France just wearing their normal dark blue though?

please tell me why France are wearing light blue? Not only do the kits clash but you can’t see the French numbers

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,320 ✭✭✭✭Losty Dublin

So red and green is a clear and obvious colour clash but white shirts and shorts and the lightest blue of all time shirts over white shorts isn't.

It went to a scrum there and you genuinely couldn't tell which was which if you didn't know direction of play.

Close up is ok but it's ridiculous for the normal camera distance.

So this is what it was like to watch Ireland Vs Wales with colour blindness
