Odd that it doesn’t even show up on a car registration search, even though a lotus normally would

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,583 ✭✭✭goochy

Not selling them anymore in Ireland. As much of a genuine lotus as a polestar could be considered one ( same owners)

They are made in China which means lotus by name only , the extra duties nowadays on Chinese ev imports means that wasn't such a goid move after all. They are bringing out a PHEV version to help sales

I know yeh, but the registration doesn’t even show up on motorcheck at all - like it doesn’t exist. It doesn’t even say ‘unknown’, it says ‘reg not found’

I spotted the nice machine visiting a friend earlier, when I mentioned it to her she didn't know the car I meant until I said you might have heard it & then it clicked!

Heard a new m5 recently start up . U can understand why they are so much cheaper then previous models. Underwhelming 2 day the least for a legendary model but that's the cost of mass appeal

I was waiting to cross at traffic lights at lunchtime & a 252 M5 drove past me, silently!

A good all rounder / every day car while other M5s would not have been so suited to the daily commute .

Different guy driving and he's had trouble with his house in cork so wouldn't imagine he spends much time there . Might have been or still be his car though

    McLaren

Nice . Mc larens don't hold their values well in UK so it's an opportunity for someone here to get one at a good price .also as they are a rare car here so when you sell on later you aren't competing against aload of other ones in marketplace

And that's a hybrid I think, so "cheap" to bring in
