Very complacent from Vinicius. Such a bad pen

You must not be familiar with two legs in a tie then.

chelsea 2-2, didnt see that coming beforehand

And the Ronnie Whelan double whammy. Sicken your hole the pair of them. No Sadlier in the studio is scant comfort.

I can take Sadlier but the other two are painful

thought psg overplayed that but what a finish

You're comparing a team who qualified for the competition despite finishing 17th last season and are on the verge of being even worse again this season to Real Madrid there, little point in that.

City are getting a bit of a hiding here but Madrid can do this once the knockouts start. Would still fancy Arsenal and even Liverpool to get through, Chelsea aren't out of it yet either. If City can pull one back they're not out of it either.

Another completely unforced goalkeeper error. Mad stuff. Really poor, and totally unnecessary from Jörgensen.

I was just going by the table posted without any context to show how good English teams have it.

    He’s unbearable.

At least it’s not an Ireland international, during which he repeatedly and childishly shouts at the top of his voice…..about absolutely nothing

Close one here. Was a good finish from Pedro though.

    Special from Kvara. Unreal.

Big hill to climb for all of City, Spurs, and Chelsea now.

Jesus I just realized what a piss easy draw Arsenal have to get to a final. Madrid Bayern PSG all on the other side.

3 goal deficits for all of City, Spurs and Chelsea now. And all three lucky it wasn't worse to be honest.

Kvara the big difference maker for PSG.

That's a very big goal for PSG, 5-2 changes the return leg completely.

Bodo/Glimt is a very tidy team. Obviously the artificial turf they are used to in home games helps them, but they play some lovely football. Hopefully they can complete the job in the second mach. SF in Europa League last season and QF in Champions League this season would be some achievement.

Upcoming gigs and events: Dry Cleaning, The Shawshank Redemption, Sprints, These Charming Men, Sasha Velour, Disorder Festival, David Byrne, The Cure, Garbage, Bob The Drag Queen, Sigur Ros, Olafur Arnalds, Cabaret Voltaire, Angine de Poitrine, Cardinals

Bit mad that only 3 of the 8 ties are fully alive after the first leg. The other 5 sides all have at least 3 goals to overturn.

Good to see a few of the English teams looking like they are on the way out. Gives a bit of variety. Dodgy keepers in the last two nights Kinsky and Jorgensen. I suppose you could say Man City were out classed in fairness.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

Honestly, how is Joe Cole still getting punditry work every week? The fella really struggles to just form a coherent sentence.

I reckon one of 'em will overcome it alright, but no idea which one. Maybe I'd edge for City, just cause City can do this sort of stuff, and have done so against Madrid before.
