    Who do you think are the most famous US music artists from each state? I'll start with some of the first alphabetically.
    Alabama: Lionel Richie
    Alaska: Jewel
    Arizona: Stevie Nicks
    Arkansas: Johnny Cash
    California: Brian Wilson
    Colorado: OneRepublic
    Connecticut: Moby
    Delaware: George Thorogood

    Agree with most of this except I'd say Billy Joel, Frank Sinatra and Hall & Oates for New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania respectively. Although, the Boss is a close second to Sinatra in my opinion...

    Update: wrong Linda Perry. The Linda Perry from Idaho was the actress. The musician Linda Perry is from Massachusetts.

    Ya, I had to Google it. One hit wonder from the 90's. Good song, but while I know the song and band name, I wouldn't have a clue who was in it.

    Yeah, they're in the Colorado music hall of Fame. It's hard with bands as often members could be from different States.
