    Welcome to Resource stocks 2026.

This thread is an EDUCATIONAL thread for anyone interested in the Natural resources sector and to see how these Companies succeed or fail in their pursuits.

This thread is definitely not intended for investment advice and you should seek expert financial advice before putting any money into the sector.

The natural resources sector especially mining has been depressed and severely out of favour for two to three decades. Metals prices especially are booming as Central banks seek a safe haven by buying Gold and Silver in an increasingly unstable world.

Lets see what we can learn….

I would like to open with a Company called Arizona metals.

It is at a key point in its development from explorer to potential developer.

It is classed as a“developer Company” as it has passed the exploration stage for one of its projects – “The Kay” deposit. This has been extensively drilled and an indicated resource of 9.28 million tonnes@3 .18% copper equivalent has been independently measured.

A very important economic study is being prepared by G mining on this deposit to assess the economics of developing a deep underground mine here to exploit the mineral resource.

Results of this will be delivered this quarter.

    • - > The Company is presenting at a number of key mining stock Conferences soon namely BMO in Florida and PDAC in Toronto + Otcqx online conference + a “big retail investor site visit”. This is from their Investor relations contact. Hopefully we will get lots of news from these.....

The Company also has the Sugar loaf prospect which has had a lot of historic drilling on it. It is a potential LOW grade Bulk tonnage shallow deposit that could be an Open pit mine if proven big enough in size to justify the investment. Recent drilling is confirming previous assumptions. There are some further drill results expected and more drilling is planned later this year.

The Company also has prospective exploration targets in the area surrounding the Kay deposit as its a Volcanic massive sulphide type deposit. Like Pallasgreen in Ireland, you get a cluster of prospects in the one area... Caherconlish, Group eleven with two prospective areas. A lot of drilling has been carried out on this since last summer and these results are PENDING.

Lets see how this one progresses on each of these prospects in the coming weeks with the anticipated news flow and appearances at the mining Conferences.

I have one more at this time. Its called "Royalties inc". Its also past the exploration stage.

It is what survives of the exploits of the former Irish explorer Minco who had a Mexican presence. They separated the Mexican interests into a new company Xtierra which has now become Royalties inc. They had a spectacular failure on a Silver tailings project but spent $30 million on proving up the Bilboa mine but never took it to production. This was because of the weak metal prices and that it was only a modest grade deposit and modestly economic. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/xtierra-assess-bilbao-increased-silver-182000478.html

BUT that was when Silver was $27 and ounce etc. The new management have last week initiated a full professional review of the deposit to assess its economics today and to evaluate what the best approach to take is. They came up with this music royalty idea when metal prices were depressed but lets see what approach they take now.

PLUS the Company has an outcome of an appeal on their right to a Royalty they have on licences which are being mined underground by a mining giant at the Cozamin mine. The Company has won the case twice already so they are extremely hopeful of a large payout of anywhere up to $20mil.

    Lets see what happens here….

There were more spectacular increases in the gold price in the past in percentage terms than the recent surge. After a 40 year lull to around 1970. But some big dips along the way since. What's next? Another long lull, a gradual increase, $10K an ounce in the next 2 years, or another big dip. Who knows.

The third Company we are going to follow the progress of on here is “GREAT WESTERN MINING”.

This one is “headquartered” in Dublin and was set up by an Irish man. It has a sole focus on Minerals in Nevada USA. Despite it being incorporated in 2004 and with nothing mined and little progress on exploration –things could FINALLY be about to change....

They have recently announced poor “early stage” drill results on two of their projects - But have had Very good results on early shallow sampling trenches on their TUNGSTEN project.

Concurrent with this, they announced a successful large fundraising of Gbp 3.5 million + warrants + the appointment of a Full time Ceo.

The Tungsten project is now to get immediate attention with surveys and drilling.

“Upon commencement of drilling, tungsten-bearing scheelite will be readily identifiable under ultraviolet light, allowing for rapid visual confirmation of mineralisation in drill core. The Company's objective is to advance the project toward a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate, while continuing to progress exploration across its broader portfolio of precious and strategic metals projects in Nevada.”

Unusually for an Exploration Company It also has a 50% interest in a Tailings recovery project which they have invested alot of money in constructing, and is ready to go But has been stalled since early last year.... The Company say they want someone with Specialised mining engineering knowledge to commission the plant and agree to recover the cost from the initial output........

Lets see how this one progresses this year......

Arizona metal put out very positive drill results on Sugarloaf last week. Huge expansion potential, alot of aerial and surface studies underway and more drilling planned for H2. The previous week they had disappointing exploration results around the Kay Zone but again aerial and surface studies underway to reinterpret the potential.

Economic assessment on Kay Deposit due by month end.

FYI: Just to let you see the petty bickering that can happen behind the scenes when ego's get dented.

Michael Gentile's latest email blast this morning, he said the following on the worst-run company and "IR", I ever had the displeasure (and lost millions on) of owning, Arizona Metals:"This week, Arizona Metals put out more Sugarloaf drill results, continuing to expand the footprint of the low strip oxide deposit. With Gold at $5000, this deposit should have increasing value for shareholders. I was hoping to ask the management about Sugarloaf and the pending PEA for Kay at the BMO mining conference, but unfortunately the company cancelled my scheduled one-on-one meeting at the conference with no explanation and no attempt to rebook it.While AMC is one of the more undervalued names in my portfolio, I took the decision following the Vancouver conference week and then post-BMO to reduce my position. If I cannot have a constructive dialogue with management, then I am no longer comfortable holding AMC in large size.In full transparency, I don’t think it’s the right move from a timing or from a valuation perspective, but given with the massive stock decline in AMC and the substantial increase of my other holdings, it’s become a small percentage of my portfolio and since I don’t feel comfortable adding to it, given my poor relationship with management, at some point you need to choose your horses and run with them."

I'd look at roi or bhp.. Good dividends and large enough swings for anyone who wants to trade
