    Hi guys.
I recently bought a 2018 ktm 350 enduro up north that is registered on a Northern Ireland plate. it has valid MOT from up north too

I was wondering if the bike needs anything to VRT it as im unfamiliar with VRT’ing an enduro bike

Have the V5 and receipt of sale. What else is needed?

    thanks

If it has NI plates that means it's road legal (I presume), so it is just a regular motorcycle for VRT purposes.

Are you putting it on the road?

in order to register it, it will have to have a speedo and odometer fitted - even if you don't intend to use them. You can't register it without an odometer - the VRT people can't register a bike without an odometer (a speedometer alone is not enough) - and it's used to determine if VAT is applicable or not as well.

BTDT, have the log book :)

I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

If you're putting it on the road then its the same as any bike! If you're not intending on using it on the road then don't change it over and bin the reg plate!

Eh, without a doubt get it registered.

You will add 1k of value and you can insure it for theft. It's a no brainier. Vrt will vcost around €220.

I have vrt'd a good few from ni, very straight forward once you have the V5.
