This is incorrect. Rhea has more followers on Instagram than Moné. As you've said, social media is not a good metric, if we just count social media, then why stop at Instagram, the numbers change drastically depending on what you include or leave out on social media platforms.

I think the general question though is simply what metric are we using to call Mercedes a 'star'.

Mercedes was at one stage my favourite wrestler (NXT into main roster mainly) and she's one of the best wrestlers in the world still in my opinon, male or female. I don't think match quality makes you a star though. Talent doesn't make you a star, at least in my definition of the term.

Is it fame or recognition? That's a hard one to judge. If we went off google search terms (not a good metric either) she isn't any where near the most search female wrestler. Outside that, I'm not sure is there much you can use to judge fame. I know people pointed to her Mandalorian role but I think that's even a bit generous to call it a starmaking turn.

She's done wonders for the independent scene in wrestling and is one of the hardest working women in wrestling and a fantastic talent but I think saying she's the biggest star in NA is incredibly generous unless you're measuring it in a very specific or flawed way.

I think this was the same debate last year about whether it was a PPV or not.

At one point last year I believe they alluded to the idea it might be. This year they haven't.

I believe it's being presented as a 'special episode' like Maximum Carnage or Winter is Coming and is airing in lieu of Collision that night.

That dynamite is up there with one of the best two hours wrestling I’ve seen in years by any company.

I see The Iiconics/Iinspiration have debuted. Meh. They were entertaining for a while in WWE, mainly in backstage skits but that's a while ago and they haven't updated the gimmick at all. Little to add these days, beyond looking good.

Why would Hangman make that stipulation? He already had the match.

Just finished it there now overall a really solid PPV from start to finish with Andrade and Bandido being the match of the night for me. Keeping the title on MJF was the right choice and a heel Hangman down the road a bit just ignoring the stipulation and just causing chaos until he gets a shot could be a fun way to to he out of it.

With Kenny and Ospreay back and Jay White teasing in twitter that he is ready to go the main event scene is going to have some great competition.
