I'm no expert but isn't it fairly established by now that it's not the plate that's important but rather the foam? EVA is not going to cut it in a racing shoe, if that's what this is meant to be.

Did 10 x 400m sub 6'50'' per mile pace on a tartan track and 10' running x 2 on tarmac to get there and back.

    • I wear size 9, but in the shop, size 9 felt a little tight, so I tried size 10, but it was much too loose, so I stuck with size 9.
    • The shoe felt slippery at the heel: I could try the extra eyelet next time
    • On tarmac, the shoe feels very stiff: I would not be confident going on a long run with them
    • On the track, they were fine, heel slipping a little, but otherwise good
    • They weigh 285g, size 9, so definitely not light
    • The upper is rather poor; it is very cheap plastic

So I'll be using them in training, perhaps for intervals and lactate threshold, but not for long runs. Not for races because they are too heavy.

As a training shoe for short distances and to get used to the stiffness of carbon plate shoes, it is fine.
