Very decent experience at the gym, was a lot quieter there yesterday then recent visits…Decided to mix up my usual routine doing more work on strength, core and balance as opposed to cardio which has dominated my visits for a while..while there everyone else seemed focused and no cohorts of eejits having chats whilst blocking equipment, doors / corridors..as weirdly has been a repeated occurrence recently…

A bumblebee the size of a € coin came in as I was airing the rooms and buzzed around the bedroom, close to the floor, for ages. Then it vanished, somehow without making a sound.

We have guests staying in our house the last few weeks as a quick favor. They have moved in full kit and caboodle and I honestly can say it has been a joy.

They could/should write a book on how not to impede on anyone's space. They've been so helpful and respectful (especially the kids) in every way possible.

I was vacuuming the landing and stairs. I just about finished the last step.
The countdown was on as the Dyson needed to be recharged.

It felt like an action filum, and the bomb was dismantled at the last second.

getting into bed, hear something rattling and on checking my duvet cover I locate my missing front door keys, I must have been lying on my bed and the keys fell out of my tracksuit pocket but how they ended up inside my duvet cover… 😵 a mystery and some but that’s one less thing for my busy to do list next week…👌

a good 12 hours and a great start to the day..I found my missing Ray-Ban’s too… I really liked that pair and €137 plus delivery for a similar replacement…convinced I left them at the gym and was gonna trek down there later… but now I have glasses, keys and a totally 100% free Sunday, now, if I can just stop losing shît too !

Celtic fans have taken to singing it as loudly as possible as a p*sstake on all away games. Almost trying to claim the song as their own.

The Rangers crowd understandably unimpressed.

I was trying to remember obscure 90’s forgotten songs on another thread. Realised I needed to be more up on my dance tracks to fully contribute.

Then remembered a fella from school who was known as - “Dave the rave”. I don’t think he was fond of the nickname.

Worst question you could ask him “What are you listening to Dave?”

Hands over an ear phone “Thud, thud, boom, boom, fire alarm type noises, maybe synthesisers ” - etc etc

Mr. DH got me a camera bird feeder for Christmas. The first customer every morning, before it even gets bright, is a gorgeous little robin, presumably the same one. He makes me very happy.

I'm also starting to recognise other regulars. I have a pigeon whose markings on one wing look like Jason Momoa's tattoo and a coal tit with a stripe of white on the back of his head that looks like a mohawk.

managed to get 4.5 or so hours of uninterrupted sleep which with that storm was a pretty decent achievement… I was resigned at one point to probably getting zero sleep…don’t every recall a storm as intense or as prolonged as that in Dublin.

TH I got an email from Electric Ireland today to tell me they owed me money on a closed account due to giving the incorrect discount for a 12 month period some time between 2021-2024. Refund on the way!
