    #MEGA MAKE EUROPE GREAT AGAIN

I’ve mixed emotions - probably better he’s dead as it’s likely the families of the two girls have final closure- that’s a good thing

-but I’d prefer to see life prisoners serve into their old age- feels like he got off lightly in some respects, even given the attack on him- by the sounds of it he was pretty much unconscious and possibly brain dead soon after the attack.

Wonderful news. One less oxygen thief in the world. Hope he died in extreme pain, and I do not say that lightly.

Apparently she’s married now with children of her own

How could this be known? She has new identity and location, both of which are highly guarded secrets! If this was true, it's a massive breach of security on that witness protection scheme.

I firmly believe that people who log onto the internet to conspicuously celebrate the horrific murders of prisoners, no matter how bad the crimes of those prisoners, are absolute wrong 'uns who are openly showing off that they themselves fantasise about carrying out horrific crimes of the sort committed by those they celebrate the deaths of.

And thus they themselves are part of the mindless culture of violence that leads to horrific violent crimes against people, especially children.

The place for people like Ian Huntley or Ian Watkins is to rot in prison until he died of natural causes, not to have his eyes gouged out by somebody just as bad as him.

If you're celebrating the murderer of a pregnant woman gouging out the eyes of a fellow prisoner, no matter what that other prisoner has done, you're exhibiting the exact sort of fetish for violent crime that can end up with the crimes of people like Huntley and Watkins. It means you think gouging out somebody's eyes is acceptable behaviour. This sort of bloodlusting brain rot is unlikely to stop at prisoners being the victims.

Directly comparing internet comments celebrating the murder of a child killer to the mindset of that child killer before he actually carried out murder... is a load of bollocks. And disrespectful to the victims.

People online celebrating and glorying in extreme violent crime have the same brain rot that leads violent criminals to commit their horrific crimes.

The glorying in the vicious, depraved murder of prisoners is a deeply weird online subculture, an open, voluntary expression of a person's deepest, darkest, most depraved fantasies.

There's an almost sexual element to it, hence the open, voluntary disclosure of the depraved fantasy. The urge is too strong to keep hidden.

It's also the weirdest, most worrying form of virtue signalling around. Virtue signalling by glorying in the murder of somebody unable to defend themselves. It doesn't signal virtue. It signals that the person is sick in the head.

No, it just isn't comparable to murdering children. Not even close. Please stop trivialising such an atrocity.

I certainly don't do it myself - I agree it doesn't look great. But it's words on the internet, no actions. And it's in relation to someone who murdered two children. Innocent victims. You'd have a point if it was in relation to an innocent victim also. No evidence that it's sexual, no evidence that they're sick in the head. It's just kneejerk, overly emotional reactions (and not entirely hard to understand) in relation to a child killer. And you're virtue signalling too - coming up with these wild stretches to make direct comparison between words on the internet and the murder of two children.

That "somebody unable to defend themselves" is an evil piece of s**t who murdered children. One of the problems with this world is that some people have empathy for child murderers

Oh I missed the "unable to defend themselves" bit. Crikey - warped.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 148 ✭✭Arseboxing

You've deliberately misread the post and put words I never said into my mouth.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 148 ✭✭Arseboxing

So do you think every child murderer should have their eyes gouged out and perhaps their genitals sawn off in their senses too and then maybe have their heart knifed out? Why not abolish the prison system altogether and just invite internet posters to have a mass orgy of torture and murder on people convicted of crimes?

There's no point using reason on people who are addicted to the red mist.

Oh I missed the "unable to defend themselves" bit. Crikey - warped.

If a prisoner is attacked in a shower by a fellow prisoner with a broken bottle or a knife or another implement with potential to kill, likely with their arms forcibly held behind their back by other prisoners helping the killer, you think they're able to defend themselves?

Since when is lynching acceptable, never mind to be gloried in?

It's warped that anybody would celebrate and glory in that happening and proves my point about what's going through the heads of these people.

Child murderers deserve all of that and a lot more.

I think I'm on safe ground when I say "two wrongs don't make a right" but I might be wrong :-(

Killing someone is either wrong or it isn't.

Ooh, a member of the bring back torture and murderous savagery brigade speaks.

Well aren't you the MANLY man.

    "I don't think, therefore I am".

Your mindset is more like that of Huntley than you'll ever understand.

I have a daughter. Anyone who harms her will be dealing with me before they see a judge. I can assure you they would be begging for the judge by the time I'm finished.

Call me whatever you want. I see it as my duty as a father.

I find it sadly ironic that people are cheering for this when the guy who did it is just as bad if not worse than Huntley.

What does it say about high security prisons in the UK when they can't stop an attack like this, Huntley has been attacked before badly, they no he's marked and still allow this to happen? its either ridiculous incompotence or it was allowed to happen…he's not the first either, Huckle and the lost prophets guy were killed too.

I wont miss these guys and feel no sympathy but they were sentenced to life in prison, not a few years and then be murdered, and by some lag whos the same or worse than them.

Oh the glory of the prison murder, the glory of it all.

Signal your virtue and your almost sexual frenzy by shouting "I hope he suffered, I'd have done it myself and worse."

Bulger was transferred from the Federal Transfer Center in Oklahoma City to United States Penitentiary, Hazelton, in West Virginia on October 29, 2018.

    [21][172]

At 8:20 a.m. on October 30, the 89-year-old Bulger[173] was found dead. Bulger was in a wheelchair and had been beaten to death by multiple inmates armed with a sock-wrapped padlock and a shiv. His eyes had nearly been gouged out and his tongue almost cut off;[174][175][176] a law enforcement official described Bulger as "unrecognizable".[171]

Incorrect. Demonstrate to me specifically where/how you think I have done that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,052 ✭✭✭✭Galwayguy35

Huntley was a paedophile and a murderer.

An animals life is more valuable than his.

It's a bit strange you aren't happy he is dead.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 304 ✭✭Mother Shaboobu

It just isn't though. Because they didn't murder children for no reason. And their (albeit crude) glee at what happened to Huntley is in relation to someone who did.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 304 ✭✭Mother Shaboobu

I agree except for the comment about Huntley's killer being as bad if not worse. He's as bad - I don't see how he could be worse.

It was one of those crimes that traumatized a whole nation. Even worldwide including Ireland too.

He should have done the decent thing and hung himself years ago.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,603 ✭✭✭Dr Robert

Huntley deserved what he got, and more. He deserved to be tortured every day of his life for what he did.

    Pedophiles deserve death and punishment.

Pedophile murderers deserve to be blinded and killed.

Even his daughter has no sympathy for him.

    Good riddance.

I don't care either way. If someone gets there eyes gouged out by another prisoner due to child murder then the evil sh**head shouldn't of committed child murder. Anger towards child murderers is a perfectly normal human reaction.
