Its a moot point I know - And its one of those if my aunty had b*lls :D

But IF France had not scored the 4 trys to get the TRY bonus point where would things have been for our chances of the championship next weekend? Would it have been a case of beat Scotland regardless of ENG v FRA result?

Those last few trys for France could really cost Scotland, only a 10 points loss in the end. If it's down to points difference it will surely be France

Tom Curry injured in the warm up. Now 10 changes for Englands starting team from the Ireland game.

because he’s looking at meaningless non impactful things to ruin the game

Obvs I’m not serious but it does come across like that more often than not.

Beirne’s “deliberate” knock on yesterday is an example

    No.

Had France not scored the Try bonus today, they'd still be ahead of us by 15 points to 14, and Scotland would be leading alone on 16.

But in the real world it stands at 16,16, 14. The Try bonus is largely immaterial for us next week. If we win, we finish on either 18, or 19. In which case any sort of win for France will secure them the championship, regardless of what we do.

And even if Scotland were to beat us with a bonus point, France can still win the title with a bonus point win over England, as the game points difference is still +58 in France's favour.

Regardless of today, its still France's to lose.

Andy Farrell created this Scotland confidence, selecting so many of them for the Lions and over his Irish players whose confidence has been shot since. Now 5 or 6 Irish players have to try and stop this Scottish juggernaut next week KNOWING their own coach sees them as inferior to their opposite number. The Scots topping our pool at the RWC and us then crashing out to France will be a fitting end to Farrell's reign of horrible man management.

No, if France win with a bonus point then Scotland would have to do the same thing to win because of the massive gap in points difference.

Now it's a case of Scotland needing a point more than France to win it.

If France lose and we beat Scotland by six or more, with a bonus point, we win it. If France lose without a bonus point then we win if Scotland don't get a bonus point or they do and we win by six.

Basically if we beat Scotland by six and both do or don't get a bonus point we beat them but we need a bonus point to beat France if they lose and get one.

If Italy would calm down a touch they can torch England down the wings

Steve Borthwick is making England so bad...

They should get rid of him and snap up Scott Robertsen...

    This is utter bullshit.

The initial squad had 15 Irish, 8 Scots. Of the additional cover players, he called up 4 Scots and 3 Irish.

The first and second test 23s had 11 Irish players and 3 Scots.

Third test also had 3 Scottish players in the 23.

Don’t let basic facts though take away from your utterly deluded hot take.

Italys consistency across the competition is excellent.

While other teams are up and down they have been very consistent, they stick to their game plan and it works very well.

What a f**k up by Italy. Thinking they can score from anywhere. Take that ball from the scrum and kick it into touch.

Numerous chances to get it off the park and then turnover the ball but end up going in down.

    Infuriating
