    Hi guys,

Can I get some advice and maybe quotes upgrading some of my speakers

The room is basically a rectangle, Sony A95L tv

Denon AVR 6700 setup for 9.1.4, Driving:

    Surrounds: 2x Gale Silver Monitor,

    Rears: 2x Monitor MASS Satellites

    Centre: Q-Acoustics 3090Ci

    Sub: SVS SB1000 Pro

    Atmos: 2x Elac Debut A4 Mk2

Pre-amp:Emotive BasX A2 driving the Fronts

Fronts: Klipsch R605fa (with built-in Atmos) Ebony

    Wides: Qacoustics 3010i x2

The Fronts are great so Im looking to get some of the current bookshelves aligned to them to match timbre and Ive come across the below replacements if possible to match the R605FAs:

    Centre: Klipsch RP-500C II

    Wides:Klipsch RP-500M II to replace Qacoustics 3010i

Surrounds: Klipsch R-50M (or if similar RP is avail) to replace Gale Silver Monitors

    1. My research seems to suggest Ill get an good bump in quality but any advice or otherwise about getting this lot with my current setup?
    2. it will be before end of month before I can pull the trigger on buying them, if I can stretch the budget I will aim for all 3 but they are in my priority order.
    3. I think the Centre is a good starting point and based on my tv unit it will fit but if the wides or surrounds arent appropriate any alternative suggestions for them welcome!

    As always thanks in advance!

Apologies for the delay getting back to you Keoin18, it's been a bit mad in store!

If you're looking to match speakers with your fronts you can't go wrong with the Klipsch speakers as it'll match the sound profile and blend a bit more seamlessly with them. They'd also be a huge upgrade over the current Q Acoustics speakers.

We are quite low in stock with them but they are a current line so we should be able to get them for the end of the month provided the supplier has stock of them. I do have a few in stock at the moment but I can't guarantee them hanging around for long.

The best pricing I could do would be as follows:

    Klipsch RP-500C II - £337/389 euro

    Klipsch RP-500M II - £410/495 euro

    Klipsch R-50M - £269/309 euro

Please don't hesitate to drop me a post if you'd like to go for any of those. The lowest stock level would be on the centre at the moment.

    Kind regards

    David

Thanks David, no worries on the delay, fully understand!

It gave me a little bit more time to do a bit more research (for better or worse!)

And would love some advice on the Klipsch RP-500SA II Atmos ones to replace my Elac A4.2 upfiring Atmos

    Centre: Klipsch RP-500C II

    Wides:Klipsch RP-500M II to replace Qacoustics 3010i

SurroundsKlipsch R-50M (or if similar RP is avail) to replace Gale Silver Monitors

Atmos on top of Gale Silver Monitors: Klipsch RP-500SA II

Can I get a quote for the Atmos ones too and or if there are any bundle deals I could avail of?

Also some advice, if I had to choose one 3 of the above 4 upgrades, where would I see the most improvements do you think?

    Thanks

    Eoin

    Hi Eoin.

The Klipsch Atmos RP-5000SA is priced at €568 which is a much better deal than our £589 sterling retail.

    https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-14965-klipsch-rp-500sa-ii-ebony-pair-dolby-atmos-surround-speakers-per-pair.aspx

No package deals listed on the Klipsch speakers unfortunately.

    Pricing would be as follows:
    Klipsch RP-500C II - £337/ €389

    Klipsch RP-500M II - £410/ €495

    Klipsch R-50M - £269/ €309

    Klipsch RP-500SA II - £589 / €568

Total would be £1605 / €1761. (David had already added in some discount to the original pricing above).
Euro pricing looks to be the better deal.

I feel the front and centre will make the most noticeable difference in sound quality.

    Thanks Kenny,

the prices in Euro do seem better at the moment!

So you are suggesting that the centre and wides should be the main investment if I had to choose?

  • Company Representative Posts: 18,452 ✭✭✭✭Richersounds.ie: Kenny

    Hey Keoin18.

Yeah, I would go for the centre first as it should make the most difference as the centre does most of the speech and you already have the Kliscph front left and right. Followed by the wides and then the rears.
    Lastly upgrade your Atmos.

    Thanks Kenny,

the rears are an odd one, right behind the couch on stands with a large window and curtains to content with. If I can I may stretch for all 4, Centre, wides, surrounds and atmos. It will be end of month before I can pull the trigger before I can put the order in so Ill check in with you guys for availability closer to the time.

    Appreciate the help!!

    Eoin

    No problem at all Eoin.

Just keep us posted when your ready and we can go from there.

In the meantime any questions don't hesitate to drop us a post.

    Actually Kenny,

David said stock may be tough to get on one or two of the items. Any major risk to wait until end of month? I may be able to get one item now if it means I'm not months waiting for it if I leave too late

    Thanks

    Epin

    Hey Eoin.

At the moment the shortest in stock would be the Klipsch RP-500C II, the others for the meantime have stock in double numbers.

    THanks Kenny,

If I can pull some funds ill get back to you guys for the RP-500C II though I may need to wait until near the end of month

    thanks!

    Eoin

    No problem Eoin.

I'll see if I can get one into the store and hold it here for you until your ready, to avoid missing out should stock run out.

    Hey guys,

Me again! I should be able to pull the trigger on some of the items above in the next few days (hopefully before end of week)

Im thinking I may keep them all aligned, so instead of the R-50M I may add another RP-500M II to the list?

    So will look like below:

Centre: Klipsch RP-500C II replacing the QAcoustics 3090Ci

Wides: Klipsch RP-500M II to replace QAcoustics 3010i

Surrounds: Klipsch RP-500M II to replace Gale Silver monitors

Atmos: Klipsch RP-500SA II to replace the Elac Debut A4 Mk2s

I presume this would be a better setup for consistency? Any issues you can see with this (overkill etc?)

Any offers or deals avail on all of the above in ebony?

At a later point Im thinking of replacing the Monitor MASS Satellites I have for Rears with another pair of RP-500M II, though we are getting some new furniture etc before that.

    Thanks!

    Eoin

    Hi Eoin.

I've managed to sweeten the pricing a little to the below for you.

Klipsch RP-500C II - €379 (Here at the store for you)

Klipsch RP-500M II - €469 (In stock in main warehouse).

Klipsch RP-500M II - €469 (In stock in main warehouse)

    Klipsch RP-500SA II - €568 (Special Order).
    All in the Ebony Finish.

    Total would be €1885

This would be a top notch setup.

    Hey guys,

Just took receipt of the Klipsch RP-500C II and two pairs of Klipsch RP-500M II . Looking forward to getting them all setup!

As always thanks for the great help with this.

Can I confirm the lead time expected on the 500SA ii's?

Im looking ahead a little, can I get a price check on the RP6000f ii too?

    Thanks!

  • Company Representative Posts: 18,452 ✭✭✭✭Richersounds.ie: Kenny

    Hey Eoin.

The 500SA should be arriving in with us over the course of the next week.
The Easter holidays may delay things a little but we'll keep in touch once we get them shipped.

The RP6000F II are normally priced at £1349 / €1534 but they have just been dropped in price to £1199 / €1389
These are special order and have a 7-10 day lead time.

Thanks Kenny. Noted on the RP 6000F ii and lead time and Ill keep an eye out for an update on the 500SAs!

I may need some more cable from you guys when that 500SA is avail so can order some more when its good to ship.
