Main Stage – 1200 GMT Start
    Round One
    Stefan Bellmont v Charlie Manby
    Sam Spivey v Kyle Gilding

    Round Two
    Sebastian Bialecki v Christian Kist
Jimmy van Schie v Tom Bissell
    Darryl Pilgrim v Beau Greaves
Pascal Rupprecht/Jenson Walker v Cam Crabtree

    Round Three
Karel Sedlacek v Raymond van Barneveld
    Ricky Evans v Brendan Dolan
    Peter Wright v Max Czerwinski/Darius Labanauskas/Callum Francis

Main stage on Friday afternoon. I think the first afternoon is my favourite session of the weekend.
By the Friday evening it just tends to be the Lukes bashing some plucky outsider, interspersed with a couple of decent Top 24 match-ups.

Good tournament for a taking a random punt on someone. Looking forward to this one

Friday afternoon is fantastic but Friday evening not too bad either. At least both sessions have the 8 boards on the go. Max chaos

Irish entrants early rounds draw summary

Niall Culleton - enters round 1

Round 1 plays qualifier Lewis Pearce

Round 2 will have a bye if he wins as Tingstrom has withdrawn

Round 3 will play whoever gets through from Wesley Plasier, Owen Bates and Yorick Hofkens

Playing a qualifier and then a potential bye means he has a great chance of making round 3

Stephen Rosney - enters round 1

Round 1 plays qualifier Clive Langford

Round 2 plays winner of Stephen Burton and Jake Eichen

    Round 3 plays Tribault Tricole

A great chance to make round 2 with a qualifier. Has been in decent form and might be a shout to make it past round 3.

Shane McGuirk - enters round 2

    Round 2 plays Thomas Lovely

    Round 3 plays Martin Lukeman

A sign of Shane's good start to the season that he is already ranked high enough to enter at round 2, passing some pros on the second year of their card, as a result is certain to get prizemoney and ranking points. Has gotten a kind draw especially if he gets past Thomas Lovely, which he will be favourite to do, Lukeman has not been in great form. A great chance to make it to Friday evening and then who knows

Keane Barry - Enters round 3

    Round 3 plays Kim Huybrechts

A battle of 2 players that blow hot and cold this one. Keane has shown some glimpses of good form this year so far mixed in with some not so good. Is defending 10K from 2 years ago so will hope to get into Saturday at a minimum

Mickey Mansell - Enters round 3

Round 3 - plays winner of Greg Ritchie, Adam Leek, David Sharp

Will be fancied to progress but might be tricky facing someone who has already played 1 or 2 games.

Brendan Dolan - Enters round 3

Round 3 - plays Ricky Evans

A game that could go either way, probably depends what version of Evans shows up

    William O Connor - Enters round 3

Round 3 - plays Ryan Miekle

Willie has had a poor start to the season, he is in a great spot in the rankings and likely to play most if not all the Euro tour events as well as the Matchplay and Grand Prix. Needs to get some runs going, Meikle wont be easy especially the way Willie has been playing. Hopefully the stage brings out a good performance and if he finds his form of last year combined with a kind draw or 2 he could have a deep run

Niall Culleton beats Lewis Pearse 6-3

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 41,265 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

He really should have gone 5-3 up there in the 8th leg but messed up a good few darts to break

6-5 win for Rosney. Poor game but got through it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,127 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,127 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

These new Winmau boards are rubbish. Van Schie had a bounce out on the bullseye for a 130 checkout.

Lot of other bounce outs in the pro tours this year

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 41,265 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Yeah it is a definite pattern and for the bull especially

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,127 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

O'Connor had a bounce out against Miekle. Dart was nowhere near the wire either

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 41,265 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Niall Culleton beaten 10-8 by Dominic Gruellich in round 4. A good tournament for him but would have been great to get the 10k prize money with a win in that game
