I'd say a lot of sides would be licking their lips at Spurs going down. They'd be asset stripped wildly, while some players have been utterly awful injuries have also played a big role in their troubles, so plenty of players would still be in high regard with reputations intact to varying degrees.

    • Bergvall, Gray, Sarr, Van De Ven, Kudus would all get decent moves to English CL level teams I'd imagine.
    • Romero, Vicario, Porro, Simons, Kulusevski, Danso probably head off to European clubs.
    • Maddison, Richarlison, Spence, Gallagher, Solanke, probably get mid table England moves.

I'll be surprised if Wolves don't catch Burnley on current form. And if Spurs keep this up I could see Wolves jumping them for 18th. Wolves aren't just punch bags anymore, Edwards has done a minor miracle tbf to him.

If they want any chance of staying up, they need rid of Tudor, go all out for Poch or someone like Klopp for the 8 games, they are going down under Tudor for sure , and even Poch might not do it, if the US would even release him,

12 points between Wolves and 18th now, with a game more played, and only 8 games to close that gap - can't see them making that happen, even as much as they've improved. Could definitely see them jumping over Burnley alright though.

Hadn't checked it and didn't realise Burnley had dropped that far back from 18th. Wolves wont make 18th so.

For sure. What I said was in response to the “mid-table sides being on holiday mode” - which I don’t think they would be when facing Spurs.

I’m curious to see what happens with Udogie. Looked like a great prospect in his first season. Has been injured a lot though.
Attacking full back who doesn’t get enough assists and is regularly injured… the perfect Luke Shaw replacement 🙃

When we Villa went down any chance of survival went when we appointed Remi Garde, similar situation with Spurs. I think if they drop into the relegation zone they won’t get out once you go into freefall it’s nearly impossible to get out.

Jamie O'Hara taking it bad tonight with Spurs on talk sport. Just walked out of the studio on Jason cundy. Of course cundy giving it loads with the Tudor mask on didn't help 😂😂😂

Christ....full on melt down now with a caller. Even Cundy is trying to calm things down!!

I said it weeks ago, spurs are gone. 3 points from the last 10 games, 10 points at home all season.

Their manager might be sacked soon

If you had to play either side tomorrow Spurs are currently a far easier side to play.

Over the last 10 games Wolves form is about mid-table.
    Spurs is dead last.

Spurs play Atletico away, Liverpool away and Atletico at home inside 8 days before playing Forrest at home 4 days later
This is already a squad struggling with injuries and form, they could be dead on their feet by the time they face Forrest.

I've thought this myself for a while but after last night I'm not so sure anymore. Spurs are the worst team in the league at present by a country mile, it really is difficult to fathom where the next points are coming from. Each performance looks even more abject than the previous one

Wolves had zero attempts on goal until they scored from a defensive error with about 10mins to go the other night. Despite being at home and playing a team who were struggling to string passes together

I think it was van Dijk who said something like "with due respect to Wolves, we lost the game more than they won it"

The reality is that Wolves were no danger to Liverpool the other night until Liverpool let them be. Once the goal went in, the game opened up, but I don't think it's as simple as saying they won so they must be better than Spurs right now.

They're also worse than Liverpool, Villa and Arsenal!

Only team without a win in 2026, worst team in 2026, best players injured, two main centre backs suspended for the next game or two, no cohesion in the team, questionable teams picked by the manager (Porro at CB?). And absolutely no experience with this kind of fight.

    So yeah, we're fucked 🤣

    😭

The Forest game is huge for ye now. Either a blessing that will save your season if you beat them or kill the season entirely if you loose.

I'd usually roll eyes at the thought of Harry Redknapp or Sam getting the call but I actually think someone like Redknapp might be their only hope at this point.

It's not about tactics anymore. It's about stomach for the fight and after watching that last night, they don't have it. I don't get the feeling Tudor is the guy to instil it.

Go get someone the fans can get behind. They are in big big trouble.

If Harry comes in and loses the first two games is he gone too?

I thought Harry would have been the sensible choice at the time, I think he would have boosted players and fans

When was the last time Harry Redknapp managed at the top level?

Not sure bringing in someone like that would achieve the results required to drag themselves out of this dogfight.

Always felt that whilst Spurs were flirting with the bottom end of the table they had the players to pull themselves comfortably clear, but looking at the Arsenal & Palace games they look in genuine trouble and worse again don't look up for it at all. They look like a team totally shell-shocked and incapable of getting their act together in time.

In saing that, their remaining fixtures do offer opportunities to get some points on the board & if I had to put my house on it suspect they'll just about do enough to stay up.

Would say almost every game is an opportunity for points but this is a team with 4 points from 11 games and 5 losses in a row.

I wouldnt fancy them against a mid table Championship side at the moment.

A fair observation and hard to argue against.

I supect I'm being swayed by the age old position that I just cant see one of the traditional 'wealthy' clubs going down. Generally clubs with turnover & budgets as big as Spurs dont get relegated.

Theres always an outlier though so you could be spot on.

I always think back to when everyone said West Ham at the time were too big to go down

Leeds too, they survived with 2 wins in last 2 games to stay up while playing European football that season and then got relegated the next year

Just a couple of seasons removed from a CL semi final

Spurs and Celtic are very similar in that they made terrible appointments manager-wise.

Expect an announcement in the next week.

14 years since Harry was Spurs manager. Got relegated with QPR the following season and brought them back up

He's 8 years older than Sam Allardyce who's already in his 70's

    I don't think he's the answer alright
