    Hi

I am due to travel from Ireland to Finland from 10th to 15th March. I have realised my Irish passport is due to expire on the 4th April.

Will I still be able to fly with Ryanair ?

    Thanks

Ryanair only care that your passport isn't out of date, so you'll be ok.

This website says that you don't need a specific validity of passport for Finland, just a current passport for the duration of your trip.

Your passport just needs to be in date for travel to another EU country.

Last year I discovered at the last minute that my passport expired on the night I was returning from summer holidays, I called the Department of Foreign Affairs who told me as I was travelling to Italy it wouldn't be an issue. I seem to remember some Ryanair ground staff in Pisa looking at my passport and chatting amongst themselves before waving me on. My flight home landed about 11.30pm, the guy at passport control joked that I had just made it by the skin of my teeth

Yeah, I flew back from Nice with days left on mine. Yer man spotted it and teased me about it. (leaving Nice)

You should be fine. As above, so long as it's in date.

And the US. Ireland is exempt from the 'six month rule' so as long as your passport covers the duration of your trip, you're good to travel.
