Why is 'Mrs Doyle' so off on Coronations Street? At the moment she has lots of air time but I am always embarrassed by her. The facial expressions, the accent, the script-everything is wrong. Is it because Corrie is such a badly produced series and is dragging her down or is it because she is not a particularly good actress and is just being found out? after all, I can;t think of any major roles she has outside of Fr Ted where she was just ok.

She’s like a toxic Mrs Doyle on Corrie. I don’t think she’s a good actress having seen her on Corrie for the last while. Chewing the scenery comes to mind!
