Pretty much this. I genuinely don't think we can beat anyone in the league. We are incompetent, unable to do the most simple things. Every single player put their today would struggle against Championship opposition if they play like that.

Maybe relegation is what we need. Gut the club, and rebuild from the ground up. May it take a decade.

If we get relegated we are absolutely Fcuked.
Our overheads are way too much for championship level incomes.
    We would be screwed.

    No subs.
Vicario pricking around at the back putting our “wingbacks” under pressure because he can’t play a direct pass and invites Fulham to push up and squeeze us.
Same Fucken **** that I seen under Frank and the end of Ange.

Imposters all of these players and they’re ruining this club.

Nice goal and a bit of impetus, let's see if they can get the 2nd

Tel has made a big difference since he came on.

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 23,784 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kiith

Yeah, why tf hasn't he been given any minutes. Can't be any worse than the rest of them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,264 ✭✭✭✭tom1ie

88th min and that’s the first time the LB and LW have worked together on an overlap.
    Both players are subs.
They both need to start the next game.

    New Manager bounce eh.

At least all the sh1te trams lost today as well. We're going to be dependent on forest and west ham loosing rather than us putting a run together to avoid the drop.

Onto the next must win game, Palace at home. I think we will win that on Thursday night.

    Wednesday games

Forest away at Fulham, home win maybe.

West Ham away to City, home win.

On the up side at least the games mean something now rather than mid table nothing games. I'm clutching at straws with this dross.

we went to see the city game couple weeks ago, during warmup Lads taking shots at Vicario.. all scoring in corner tio his right.. in the game City scored in the same corner

Today Fulham.. scored in the same corner to his right..

He is shocking, if we saw that from block 5 west stand, I guarantee every other team saw it aswell

The narrower a man’s mind, the broader his statements.

I said it before. It’s a sad state when we are dependent on other teams doing us a favour

Didn't see the game but these really are dark days, it's hard to see us beating anyone at this point. The Palace game is a real 6 pointer and we need to win it more than they do. For the most part our recent signings have been atrocious and Romero missing these run of games is proving very costly.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,264 ✭✭✭✭tom1ie

We really need to try something completely different like for instance playing a naturally left footed player at LB and a speedy player who has a decent left footed and drives at the opposition on the left wing.
    It might just work………..

Lange needs to be outside right now.. give the new DOF or what ever they call themselves time to see the crap we have and make a plan for the summer. A massive overhaul is needed. That said we should also have one eye on players who will get us straight back up

Incredible as it sounds I think, far from a new manager bounce, the new manager has lost the dressing room.

We are a laughing stock anyway but I think we will be changing the manager again before Easter.

His comment that we have no defence, no midfield, no attack and no brains might be 100% accurate but how does it help broadcasting it to the world? He might as well have said, not my circus not my monkeys.

    It doesnt matter.

Those players have checked out , conceded, given up, thrown in the towel.

    No guts , no accountability.

They'll up and leave, and not one **** given. Two players here on loan , why should they care?

Tudor's in the job a week and hes broken .

The most un coachable club in football?

Season placing since Kane left....that has covered so many cracks...

The puling , dragging and holding by the champions elect is ridiculous .....

Even handling the ball while wrapping a player with your two arms isnt a foul now ?

Match of the day didnt mention it in their 'analysis' ..

Just spoke about how good raya is - ' im not gonna talk about that now '....

even though the commentator couldnt believe it wasnt a pen.....

    🤷‍♂️

I heard the newstalk soccer show yesterday that Spurs have now gone the most games in the PL without a win since 1994 - when Ossie Ardiles was manager. 😶

Mitch Hedberg: "Rice is great if you're really hungry and want to eat two thousand of something."

Watched MOTD last night, crazy decision for the first goal imho. Then the dopey MOTD pundit going on about it being a 'coming together'!? If I'm behind someone and decide to push them in the back that is not a coming together, that is a push.

As for the manager, it reminds me of United appointing Rangnick back in 2021, the wrong man pure and simple. Still think Spurs will stay up though, there's only one relegation slot left and you're 4 points above it with with a better goal difference.

I think Sean Dyche may be our best bet if we lose on Thursday?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,941 ✭✭✭✭Supercell

Until Palace had a player sent off they were giving United a good run for their money, have zero faith in us beating them or any other Premiership team for that matter right now. Good to see Richy back yesterday and Tel actually getting some time on the grass. Maybe they can help pull of a miracle, who am i kidding.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,161 ✭✭✭Deise Vu

It needs someone to calm their brains down and speed their legs up. I don’t think Dyche is the man for that. At the moment you can see they don’t want the ball. A bollocking off Sean Dyche doing a job for two months will only make things worse.

I honestly don’t know who could turn this around. I think it is going to take some monumental flukey win with the ref/VAR going our way for once. That’s the only thing going to convince the players that they aren’t jinxed. They look resigned to their fate to me, almost wishing for yet another bad decision to pin it on.

Agree he was a disaster at Villa and proving to be a disaster for Spurs and Vinai Venkatesham needs to follow him out the door.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,916 ✭✭✭✭2nd Row Donkey

We still haven't been awarded a single penalty this season. Lets home we get 6 of them in separate games in the next 6 weeks cos boy do we need them.

We have to figure out how to actually play in the opposition penalty box before we can get a penalty though :(
